location, beds with blackout curtains for more privacy, integrated bathrooms (shower, toilet and sink in the same room), showers both fixed and handheld, good pressure and hot water at all times. comfy mattress and pillow. friendly staff, a lot of activity, lounge and kitchen area. it’s a spacious and safe property with a sense of family place. clean, nice and organized.

check-in time is too late, some of the shower areas (but not all of them) can be a lil small so if you’re too tall, big or well built you can struggle a bit. depending on the room it can be noisy at night (I spent two nights only on a weekday, my room was the 1.8 and a few people talking in the streets and a gargabe truck were quite annoying for a while). bathrooms are not ensuite. bad smell coming from the drains in the afternoon (the hostel is very clean, this has more to do with the old building the and fact that some bathrooms don't have propper vents).

I was in Barcelona with my mom and 2 children. My goal was to use public transport and walk to see the city and the location was absolutely great. I really like the small kitchen unit that let us make some small snacks and sandwiches after long walks.

Really great location, entrance on the Cathedral square and yet quiet (other than the beautiful bells). Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen space. Good shower. All clean. Outside space nice and cool on hot day.

Concierge staff are friendly some, reception staff are friendly, but not very attentive to client orientation. No follow up.

Room is very awkwardly arranged, colors are off, bathroom arrangement are wrong, measurements are off. Bathtub higher than usual and water drains very slow, toilet seats facing each other with less then 18. Inches. Bathroom sink approx. 105 cm high. TV. Was out of service, the answer was it is raining, however, when questioned, they offer another room to watch TV and go back to sleep after!!! Difficult time. Room service forgot towels on 2nd night when ask front desk they sent hand towels!! That’s enough I believe. Lobby lights very low and bathroom in basement level.
