This family run place is located in a guarded gate community. Its location is close to the city center and a newly and pleasant developed shopping center. The room is clean and the bed is firm. We were impressed that the gentleman took us to the airport around 1:40am as promised very prompt.

It’s crazy close to the airport. Uber is about a $3USD ride. Other options are the bus which is really easy. Or if you are arriving or exiting at the right time they have a free shuttle. The staff here is wonderful!! They know the area really well and warmly share knowledge with travels. They will even hang with you at a table and step by step the logistics to a near by ‘hot spot’ or to another town. Love this place and the town Alajuela. Much better than downtown SJ. But if you need to connect to downtown that is an really easy $1 bus from here
