The atmosphere is good and calm, Ming his service is exceptional and always ready to help. He helped us to book the tickets to the mountains and tianmen and is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and his English is good which is rare to find in China. Would definitely come back and visit and stay in this guesthouse.

Read it if you're not Chinese 👇 Perfection location. It's just right next to the park entrance. You can buy Zhangjiajie Park tickets (valid for 4 days) and go in and out every day. The hostel owner will help you buy the tickets. If you travel to Zhangjiajie or Zhangjiajie West train station there are buses that'll take you to Wulingyuan. They start running at around 7:30. Don't get scammed by expensive taxi drivers. Then it's a short walk to the hostel from the Wulingyuan bus station. You can contact the owner of the hostel beforehand and he'll let you know how to get to the hostel. Download WeChat so that you can communicate easily without using VPN. Also, download Amap (works with WeChat location and doesn't need VPN to run). The hostel owner speaks good English, but Chinese definitely makes things easier here. Hope this helps my fellow travellers from outside of China.

The hostel is about a 10 minute walk from the Wulingyuan enterance of the Zhangjiajie National Park - a fantastic location even for lodging that would cost several times more per night! The hostel and facilities are clean throughout. The host provided valuable info through WeChat, particularly on weather conditions in the park that affected transportation options within the park. Great value for your money given the comfort, cleanliness, and superb location! Just one note: make sure you can use Alipay - you can only pay for the laundry machine using Alipay.

Where to start? The decor was cool and traditional, it’s in a perfect location- close to some places to eat and buy snacks and such, but a quiet place to have peace. Walking distance to the park, the bus station, and anything you need. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- they know I loved it so much hahaha! They upgraded my room to a private room since it was low season and no one else was in the hostel. The private room had a heater which was soooo nice, the bathroom was great and the bed was so comfortable. Most of all, I loved the staff. The owner and Emer, the woman currently working there, made me feel at home. They were so generous with me. From deep conversations, eating together, having tea together, laughing together, hiking together, buying snacks together, every moment felt natural and bliss and I leave knowing this was the best part of my trip in China. Emer helped me plan my whole week and book my tickets for the week as well as my future trains! I couldn’t have asked for a better week in Zhangjiajie, and I will miss them dearly. If you can, get a custom piece of traditional writing from the owner! I did, and I can’t wait to display it in my home. Thank you for everything!!! No words can express my gratitude!

It has a perfect location, basically 300m from the entrance of the national park and very close to good restaurants. The included breakfast was daily fresh made by the owners (although unusual for us - a very good soup with spicy pork dumplings). The owners are very helpful with booking tickets (they even have a discount compared to the internet). It has nice bathrooms.

Amazing hospitality and hosts - cozy room. If you are out late (past midnight) you need to let the hosts know to let you back in but they are very accommodating

The owner was really friendly!!! He spoke english and helped with planning and booking tickets for the different national parks in Zhangjiajie.
