Great view from our room overlooking the water. There are 2 pools overlooking the sea - kiddie pool and regular - both very nice. Very good breakfast selection.

We knew it was a little worn but it was charming. The rooms were large;the bath/shower was nice. The ceiling were high and we had a window. The gardens are fun to walk. The pool looked attractive but we didn’t have time. The location was right down the street.

Decent place for a short stay around the city-area. Clean rooms and a big parking area to leave your car. Excellent view from the balcony and really quiet place to enjoy your sleep. A super market and dinning selections are very close , about a 2 minutes walk.

The shower was wonderful and romantic. It was a double shower with two heads, one for each person and had mood lighting. Emanuele, our host was super kind.

Location was fantastic. It was a nice spot for a quick one night stay we came in the late afternoon and were able to see ruins before they closed and get up and head to Pompeii the next morning. There was a great pizza place in a basement near by

This property offers everything you could possibly need and want; the owners are extraordinary, going out of their way to make your stay a wonderful experience
The ruins were fantastic. There is also the Teatro Antico, which is still underground. We missed out on this as we didn't find out about it until we got there. They only admit small groups at a time and it was fully booked. Tickets are available from the Herculaneum entrance or on the Ticket One website, so you really need to book on advance. There is a virtual Archaeological museum in the town. This includes a short 3D film about Vesuvius, the opportunity to fly a virtual drone and a VR experience of walking round one of the palace gardens. Ideal for kids and teens! The museum is screen based about Herculaneum ruins and does not include actual discoveries from the site.
For visiting the surrounding areas, trains into Naples are regular, as are trains to Pompeii (but you have to change - the ticket man didn't tell us this!). Don't miss the chance to wander round the actual town of Pompei. It was beautiful! In fact, next time I would choose to stay there over Ercolano or Naples!

My grandchild suggests we would have been better staying in Pompeii and travelling to Ercolano one day. I had decided to follow what my neighbour suggested, based on taking a younger child to southern Italy.

We spent one night in Ercolano to visit the ruins of Herculaneum and break up our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The ruins are a must-see and you can experience authentic Naples pizza at RO.VI. We also enjoyed espresso and drinks at the Herculaneum Cafe. I'm not sure what you'd do here for more than a day or two, but the ruins and authentic cuisine were definitely worth our time!

The apartment was very nice and people of Ercolano very friendly. They really drive like crazy, but that is their way of life. Train station is really near the apartment and best option to reach Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento...

Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen...
Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen from most everywhere, Naples bay also is lovely and is seen from most of the places in the town. You can easily find nice fish, pizza, fast food and traditional local restaurants in 10-15 min walk. There is a nice but small botanical garden in the territory of the local university. They also have a park of mandarins/tangerines which you can pick up for free.
The ruins of Ercolano/Herculaneum exceeded our expectations! It is not overcrowded as Pompei, the territory you can walk through in 1-1.5 hours, moreover, some buildings are in better condition ... we liked it.
We were able to communicate easily in English with the manager.
We were met by three gentlemen to show us the car park and assist us with bags to our room.
The hotel includes a modern decor within a historical building located close to restaurants, shops and the archaeological park.
The room had a great view of the golden mile and mount Vesuvius.
The manager gave a pleasant overview of the buildings history, how to use their WIfi and online catalogue to nearby services..
Great central location, near the train station (3-5 min, direction Pompeii or Naples), 5 min to Ercolano ruins entrance, next to cafes and patisseries. The host is nice and place is clean. Wifi is great and breakfast is available in cafe nearby. You will find fridge, botteld water and coffe in the room. Ercolano is definetely worth the visit and you should try street food (La maison de la pizza - rosticceria)
The hotel staff is nice and very helpful. Relatively short walk to the train station and interesting suburb of Naples, not far from all the archeological sites (from this point the hotel has a great location). The hotel has a really nice chill-out area (terrace) and a great location within Ercolano. Nice view over the sea from the breakfast room, nice tasty breakfast.
Flora was great and had a very cheerful personality. We only spent one night to see Herculaneum ruins the day we came in and the Pompeii ruins the day we left. Easy 5 minute walk to Herculaneum ruins with a nice pizza place on the way. 15 minute walk to beach bars to see the sunset. Good restaurants close by. There was a nice terrace on the property.
We enjoyed the time in Ercolano so much, we never actually went to Naples.^^
Ercolano is very sweet and thanks to the hosts we learned about the best spots and restaurants in town. They even organised a rental car for us for our trip to the Amalfi coast! How awesome is that! Thank you, it was wonderful to stay with you. :)
Excellent location on a nice side street between the circumvesuviana station and the Ercolano archeological park. Excellent food options nearby. strategic location away, but not far from the busy city of Napoli and the Pompeii ruins. Very clean place, friendly host.
Great location, a few meters away from Ercolano Scavi. Host is great and very reachable, welcome was fantastic and super friendly. Very quiet place, ideal for a couple nights to discover Ercolano and Reggia di Portici Museum. I highly recommend
Great location opposite the entrance to Herculaneum, car parking about 400m down the road for $10 but were able to keep the car there the next morning while visiting the ruins.
Ruins B&B’s reception is actually in the Herculaneum Hotel.
Salvatore was a great host from the beginning to the end. The room was perfect with a high ceiling and a nice painting. I definitely recommend to stay at Villa Cua which has a perfect location, close to Ercolano Scavi and the ruins.
Location is good loads of nice bars, restaurants and shops all around in Portici and Ercolano. Food in the restaurant was excellent also. Herculaneum site within 15 minutes walking distance which was perfect.
Very good price for Italy. The attendant was very flexible and accommodating about our check in time. Included a nice coffee and croissant in the morning at the cafe next door. Very close to the ruins.
Wonderful hotel close to the Roman ruins and great restaurants nearby. Fantastic pool and gardens; an oasis in the middle of the bustling centre. Wonderfully big, calm room with a view of Vesuvius.
Good location to visit Ercolano and Napoly (only 10km from downtown). Large room for 4 people with Air Conditioning. Very good breakfast. Free Parking in front of the property. Fully recommended.
If you want to live few days in the south of Italie, go to Antonio's guest house. Thank you dear Antonio, we where at home in your beautiful house
100 mètres far from Ercolano SCAVI ....
Absolutely beautiful villa with nice views of Naples and Sorrento, walking distance to Ercolano historic site.
Welcoming owner and really nice villa interiors! decent beds and pillows.
Thé location was great for Herculaneum and the Villa Campolieto, both within walking distance, highly recommend both, Ercolano is small so one or two days is enough.
