Great location. Comfortable beds and the breakfast is one of the delicious I’ve had in a Vietnam hotel. Brian is an absolute delight, always bursting with good energy and is so helpful. Sophia is sweet and is very helpful as well. We wished we stayed longer since we only stayed for one night with them.

The rooms were small, but the service more than made up for it. I wish that I had booked more nights there. Ms. Lucy was the highlight of this location. Her customer service was far beyond all the others that I've experienced in all my travels. She handles that hotel like she owns it. Even when I wasn't staying there, she took great care of my traveling needs. I'll stay there every time I come back to the old quarter of She still working there. Thank you for everything Ms. Lucy.

I stayed in Hotel du Lac for around 3-4 days and I couldn't have chosen a better place to start my adventure in Hanoi. The hotel is very centrally located, the facilities are super cozy (specially the lobby) and the staff is just unbelievably kind. For you to know what I mean: I left my laptop charger (a MacBook Pro) in my home country by mistake and they helped me get a brand new charger (a model that happened to be super tricky to find). I was amazed by how well they treated us. Always greeting us and smiling. The beds are super comfy, so you will have a good sleep. Rooms are quiet as well. Their breakfast is very complete. You will have eggs "a la carte", local food like Pho, yogurts, fruit, several kinds of teas and even sushi. They also have a rooftop bar/terrace. Perfect to chill for a while and check out the city while you have a good juice or cocktail. Finally, speaking about their location... well... it's a 10/10. You are in the middle of the old quarters so everything is reachable by foot. From the water-poppets theater, to the lake, cafés, and even bars. It will just take you a few minutes while you experience the action in the streets. I was going to book again, but sadly got sick. Thank you for everything guys! :)

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. They organized our Ha Long bay tour as well as taxis to and from the airport. We never had any issues, everything was organized with no confusion.

Location: Love the location as it is the center to all the food, shopping places. Room: to be in the center of the city and yet it is quiet it the room. Room & toilet was clean. Basic amenities were there. Service: Staff were very friendly and even introduced some nice food places.

Perfect central location, close to all the things you want to experience in Hanoi. The staff is outstanding, Ana and Daisy made sure our day went smoothly, they helped us organize a transfer to the airport, and actually upgraded our room with no extra fee! Wonderful experience, 10/10, would recommend!
