The decor was beautifully venetian and luxe. Rooms and public spaces alike have gorgeous interiors and décor accents. Front desk staff are as professional and welcoming as it gets. This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Venice and I’ve visited several times. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The breakfast rooms have a window that open up onto the canal.

The room was spacious and light, with a view of the garden and a small section of the lagoon. The mattress was large and very comfy, and the lighting options good. The decor was restrained and relaxing, and it was good to have a desk to sit at and an armchair in which to read a book. Great to have a safe in the room too. The breakfast was exceptionally good.

Fantastic location close to all main attractions but quiet enough to relax in. Friendly, helpful staff. We had a great room, very spacious and clean, with comfortable bed. Good range of food at breakfast. Only slight drawback was stairs - there us no lift and 6 floors! Nevertheless would highly recommend. Great value for money.

What is there not to like! Quiet location close to everything. Helpful and extremely friendly staff, comfortable and well appointed rooms with spacious and clean bathrooms. Lift was a blessing. Breakfasts are a must here! Relax on either the rooftop or garden terraces in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this Hotel to family and friends. And no I wasn’t paid to write this.

The hotel is situated in a very good location, down a quiet lane close to St Marks square and a vaporetto stop. I was given an adjoining apartment so had plenty of space to relax. A very good breakfast was available in the hotel and the staff were very friendly and efficient.

A perfect stay in every way. Good location in a quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants on your doorstep (esp. Osteria di Zucca). Impeccably clean & spacious rooms. The warmest of welcomes from the all female staff who offer handy local tips & are so helpful! Excellent continental breakfast with fresh coffee. The deeply historic building’s character is not lost by the comforts provided for an ultra comfy stay. So relaxing, it felt like entering a spa! Cannot thank our hosts enough - we’ll be back!!

The location was amazing overlooking St Marcos Square and church. The room facilities were second to none, and the breakfast being served in the room was great. There was nothing better than relaxing in the private sauna and spa bath after a day of sightseeing.
