Everything in this place was amazing. Particularly the kindness and willingness to help of the members of staff; from the reception persons to the person who made the room. The service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. They also have a doctor on call 24/7, which was a blessing during my stay. I needed a mat to exercise daily and it was delivered to my room as part of the service in no time. The room was beautiful with a balcony to the garden from which I could hear the water fountain. The beds are great, the breakfast selection was excellent and the coffee was something else (take my word: I am a Melburnian... :o) ) The gym, spa, sauna facilities are stunning. The location is excellent. Walking distance to Santa Maria Novella railway station and church, the Duomo, Medici Chappels, the Central Market. It was a fabulous complement to a great holiday.

I like the fact we had a 3x separate glass shelves in the bathroom to put our cosmetics- My partner enjoyed using the coffee machine and coffee capsules. It rained heavily on my first day and was so grateful to be able to use the Spa. The spa area is great. Was able to use the jacuzzi, sauna, steamed room as well as having bed lounges area to relax. Breakfast was good each morning, and the dinner we had at the hotel was wonderful. The swimming pool was bliss on the hotter days, and plenty of outside relaxation space. Massage was very relaxing after a full day walking in the city too!

The staff were very welcoming and professional. We booked an hour slot for the spa area which was small but relaxing, having everything you need. The masseur was skilled and gave a great massage. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but this had good choices of continental or cooked food and the dining team were very courteous. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.
