Berlokasi di Zao Onsen, 2 menit jalan kaki dari Resor Ski Zao Hotsprings, Takasagoya Ryokan menyediakan akomodasi dengan WiFi gratis dan parkir pribadi gratis. The staff was very kind, as expected from a family owned ryokan. The bath area is small, but you schedule your personal bath time. Food is incredible, a must try when visiting Zao. Location is near the main attractions, like the cable car is reachable by walking. Lots of nearby onsens.

Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya menawarkan pemandian air panas alami, 15 menit berjalan kaki dari Stasiun JR Tendo, 50 km dari Sendai. Highly recommended. The staff are standout super efficient, always available and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and newly refurbished (especially the rooms). The Japanese breakfast was an amazing experience. If we had to do this northwest region again we'd definitely repeat this as our base.

Matsushima Ichinobo menawarkan akomodasi di Matsushima dengan Wi-Fi di seluruh akomodasi, pusat spa, dan kolam renang luar ruangan musiman. Everything is amazing. It is expensive, but you get what you pay. I recommend staying for at least 2 nights. I stayed for only one night, and I think I could have enjoyed more (like the gardens and the free rental bike service) if I had more time. Having said that,I thoroughly enjoyed my bedroom, the lounge, restaurant, the baths. The free all you can eat ice cream in the lounge was also a positive surprise.

Dikelilingi oleh pegunungan suci dan alam yang belum tersentuh, Tamonkan bertempat di sebuah bangunan bergaya Jepang yang bersejarah. Teh dan makanan ringan gratis disajikan untuk menyambut Anda. Amazing food and beautiful traditional ryokan. Dinner was one of the best meals I have eaten anywhere in my life. The owner's wife and mother prepared and beautifully presented a perfect Japanese dinner, and breakfast (Japanese) was also incredible. Our room was the oldest (100 years) but the whole place dripped with authenticity and good taste. We stayed in early January and it was very cold in the hallways but rooms had gas heaters to keep you cozy. The walk from the front door to the top of Mount Haguro was about an hour and a half with deep compacted snow covering the famous 2446 steps. A truly memorable experience.

We were very surprised with the diversity of the breakfast. If you want to experience a proper Japanese breakfast, here is one place where you can do that very well. The onsen was very pleasant too, but you might need to get accustomed to the temperature. All in all we had a very pleasant stay here and we can definitely recommend! Thanks a lot :)

Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen berjarak 7 menit jalan kaki dari Danau Gosho, menawarkan Wi-Fi gratis dan pemandian air panas indoor/outdoor. Top tier hospitality and service. Every meal was meticulously considered and prepared. The menu items also change every meal. The traditional Japanese room with private open air bath was a delight. The staffs were extremely friendly and thoughtful.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei terletak tepat di depan Teluk Matsushima, menawarkan akomodasi dengan akses internet kabel gratis. The view the room was outstanding! The staff members went above and beyond to help us. My wife has celiac disease and needed special care to be taken with meals and they did an amazing job of providing 2 very large and intricate safe meals each day with no issue.

Katakurinohana menawarkan pemandangan danau, Wi-Fi gratis, dan parkir pribadi gratis di Senboku, 15 km dari Pemandian Air Panas Nyuto. The scenery advertised on Booking.com especially the private onsen, the lobby faced lake view, looked cozy in the ads, every room has lake view….but..

Berlokasi di Kitakami, 42 km dari Kuil Chusonji, Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- menyediakan akomodasi dengan WiFi gratis dan parkir pribadi gratis. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.
