Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Great location at the heart of ryokan alley, very hospitable hosts that can shuttle you from the Yudanaka Station to their place free of charge (prior reservation needed), nice cozy restaurant with kotatsu (very relevant when it is cold), comfortable ryokan with lots of space and a gas heater. The host was shinning and always smiling, it gave us good mood for two days. Also she helped us out with the reservation for the onsen and gave us a ride to that place and brought us back in an hour. Shibu Onsen Koishiya Ryokan are the best and we will definitely stay here if we ever come back to Japan again. ps we also left some chocolate from our country and asked them to pin it on their big wall in their cafe. we hope you liked the chocolate!

O Hotel Fuki no Mori fica a 20 minutos de carro da Estação Ferroviária JR Nagiso através do serviço de transporte gratuito do hotel. The staff were exceptional catering to our every need and the food was unusual and fantastic. It felt like a very authentic experience. The onsen was fabulous

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. Quem tiver a oportunidade de se hospedar nem que seja por um dia no Yorozuya deveria fazê-lo! Além do belíssimo prédio com antiguidades dignas de museu internacional, a hospedagem é muito limpa e bem cuidada, os funcionários são gentis e solícitos, os quartos são confortáveis e muito bonitos, outras comodidades também encantam como os yukatas, items de higiene, meias e chinelos. Não poderia deixar de mencionar a onsen, foram os melhores banhos que já tive na vida! O Yorozuya provê tudo o que é necessario para que sua estadia seja a mais confortável e relaxante possivel como toalhas de banho limpas, secadores de cabelo, produtos de banho e uma água sempre gelada pra refrescar. A melhor parte deixei para o final: comida! Além de cafés da manhã e jantares variados, nutritivos e saborosos (não repetiram nenhuma prato nos 3 dias que estive hospedada!!), o uso de alimentos frescos e muito bem preparados e toda a valorizaçao dos ingredientes locais surpreendeu e deixou gosto de saudades. Espero poder retornar em breve!

Situado apenas a 5 minutos a pé do histórico Santuário de Togakushi, o Oshi Ryokan é um alojamento tradicional situado numa pacífica zona montanhosa, que costumava acolher peregrinos. Felt instantly comfortable and at home. Beautiful old building. Wonderful staff and food!

Apenas a 10 minutos de carro do Parque dos Macacos de Neve, o Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya apresenta acomodações simples de estilo japonês com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Akira and his mother were incredibly accommodating and made us feel at home. They made me dinner and breakfast (gluten free and vegetarian) which was amazing. Their private Onsen is lovely and the room was really comfortable. Would highly recommend

A 3-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Kadowakikan features ski-to-door access, a hot spring bath and free WiFi. The Japanese breakfast was delicious. Moreover, the onsen was very relaxing after skiing. The owner is the best, helped us guide to amazing restaurant, booked a skipass with a discount and brought us to the bus stop. Highly recommended!

O Tawaraya está situado a 5 minutos a pé da Estação Ferroviária de Yudanaka e apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e uma televisão de ecrã plano. The service as this Ryokan was 10/10, and was the most authentic one we stayed in during our 4 weeks in Japan. The staff were so lovely, and spoke great English. They showed us to our room, and gave us essentially a "room tour" whilst we drank complimentary tea. They gave us a map with nearby restaurants and ammenties noted on it. The private outdoor onsen was SO nice! You book a slot upon arrival, which you can access in the evening with 30 min slots. The onsen was large and the perfect contrast with the fresh cool air in the evening. Yukatas were provided for us as an option to wear around the hotel - both my partner and I are bigger than the average Japanese person (Wife is plus size, I am 6ft 2) and we both comfortably fit into the ones picked out for us. The only thing that threw us was that during breakfast, they cleared the beds from our room - had we known people would go in, we'd probably have neatened the room a bit haha! P.S don't skip the sushi restaurant a few doors down from the hotel. The sushi was EXQUISITE and they even have a phonetic Japanese to English page at the front so you can have a go at ordering properly with the chef.

Minshuku Miyama offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can relax in the public outdoor hot-spring baths and wear Japanese Yukata robes. We loved everything! From the kindness of the staff to the incredible room, the comfortable bedding, the quiet environment, the facilities, the meals!
