What a great find this accomodation has been! After being initially slightly dissapointed we could not get a funaya accommodation, after our actual stay, all I can say is how lucky we were to have experienced the stay here instead. The room was so spaceous, and bright, with all the facilities we would have wanted. The kotatsu has been lovely! All the decoration and overall setting feels so cosy and warm. Exceptional breakfast, with many delicious choices. Lots of flavor and fresh, local ingredients. Loved the pickles and the atsuki dessert! Everything was spot on! Much more than we could have hoped. Wish we could have stayed more to enjoy the room facilities even better.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The place is beautiful and very central to visit Kyoto, the staff is very friendly and always attentive if we needed anything, a wonderful experience, we will return if possible.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. ligger i Kyoto, 2 km fra Nijo Slot, og har restaurant, have og udsigt over haven. I can't say enough about this place, the staff were extremely helpful and kind, the room was amazing, and of course the dinner and breakfast.. again, amazing.. One of the highlights of our amazing trip to Japan!

Ishibekoji Muan ligger mindre end 1 km fra Gion Shijo Station og 15 minutters gang fra Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og eget badeværelse i Kyoto. Everything was perfect. Sae san was very helpful with everything. Should have stayed there for more than 1 night :)

Gion Oyado Kikutani ligger mindre end 1 km fra Gion Shijo Station og tilbyder 3-stjernet indkvartering i Kyoto samt have. Excellent location, nearby key sightseeing spots, beautiful and spacious bedroom and bathroom for a family of three. Very nice staff.

In the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features a garden and a washing machine. Everything was amazing. I have no complaints and if I go to Kyoto again, I would love to stay here again!
