A charming, spacious, and impeccably clean Riad situated just beyond the lively Medina, close to major attractions. Nicolas, Soufiane, and the entire team were delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dinners on two evenings were superb and plentiful. Nicolas, the owner and French chef, was very kind and helpful in organising local taxis for our trips to Volubilis and the train station. Would unquestionably choose to stay here again.

We loved our stay in Meknes. It was our first time in a riad and we were delighted. The interior is very beautiful. We were there in the off season in February, so we were the only guests for our two night stay. There was great communication with our host on how to find the riad, for example, which gate to get a taxi to, which alleyway to walk down to find the accommodation, etc. The location is good. It is very close to Lahdim Square, Bab El Mansour Gate, and Dar Jami Museum. Unfortunately, during our stay Bab El Mansour and Lahdim Square were undergoing renovations, so we didn't get to have the full effect.

From previous comments a lot of people recommend him, but I was surprised to find beautiful person like Zakaria, that will talk with you about Maroc, People, Berbers and other things in Maroc. All moroccan tiles and cedar wood, you have stepped back in time. The main floor is truly a wonder of detail, arches, columns, and light. Hassan offers you the traditional welcome of tea and cookies, while you soak in the color and space. The first flight of stairs take you to the main floor with the bedrooms and suites. Completely furnished with authentic fabrics and very comfortable furniture and beds. The baths are modern and there is plenty of hot water at your disposal. The next flight of stairs leads up to the two terraces with views across to the modern city. A public park is directly below, with paths, many types of trees and plants. The Breakfast and Dinners on offer are nourishing and more food than one can finish. All cooked to order and delicious. Hassan is happy to accommodate your desires and can assist with any arrangements for tours. He also will help you to get oriented with the map that is provided. Meknes while a large city, the Medina is not a big as in other cities you may visit. Very easy to wander and not get lost. The restaurants are plentiful, with very tasty food. Some offer huge roof terraces to sit and watch the theatre that is ongoing in the squares and other areas. Or choose a sidewalk cafe and just relax and enjoy a coffee or tea. You return to the Ryad, and Hassan's welcome back to your home away from home. He is happy to organize excursions to the many sites in the area as well as offer you books which explain everything about the surrounding area. We cannot thank Hassan enough for his kind hospitality and expert services.

We were in the suite on the top floor. The main bedroom was fine. The adjoining room was without a/c so too uncomfortable for May. Fine for a couple. Breakfast was great. The whole Riad was charming and the service was great. I can definitely recommend this gem in Meknes. Great location behind the main square.
