Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNothing really.
Even though only 1/2 block from Bourbon St at night no noise, until trash trucks in morning. The hotel staff awesome. Augustine took such great care in the evenings of us. The restaurant is some of the best food and bar staff great too.

CanadaThe room is not very bright. Wish the windows were bigger or better lighting in the room. The thermostat seemed to have a mind of its own.
room was good size, bed comfortable, shower good. Elevator relatively quick. Some rooms were noisy but I was tucked back in the corner so was quiet

United States of AmericaNothing I really disliked. I do not harp really hard on the minutia of things as we are all human and nothing is perfect.
Celebrated my Birthday in one of the best places in the US - NOLA. This is our third time staying at this hotel. We love it for it's location and friendly staff. We arrived pretty late as our flight had been delayed so check-in was past closing time. The front desk clerk, Senorita, I believe that was her name, was attending it. She was so sweet and welcoming and took care of use really quickly to get us in and rested for the night. We booked two rooms with balconies that overlooked the courtyard. They were very nice and comfortable if a little dated and mildly worn. But it is a historic hotel right in the French Quarter so it was expected. The shower was hot and pressure really good and the beds super comfy and plushy. The A/C worked wonderful (we experienced warm and cool climate during our stay). The location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the French quarter but not right on Bourbon street. I also appreciated that the main lobby is locked after a certain time and only tenants have access with their keys. The street is well lit so you felt safe going in to the hotel late at night. In addition, all the staff of the hotel was really nice, from the bell hops, front desk ladies, housekeeping, security, etc. I appreciate the hospitality industry employees and the work they do - it is a tough job. We did not make use of the onsite restaurant or the other amenities as our travels primarily focused on immersing ourselves into the history, food and drinks of the City.

United States of AmericaThe shower curtain was extra long and bunched/puddled at the bottom which was just odd. Make sure to buy water to use the coffee pod machine.
Hotel staff from front desk to porters/concierge ( Andrea, Keisha, Jada, Darron etc) was engaged, friendly and helpful. Location was close to what I wanted to do. My courtyard room was very quiet and I enjoyed the outdoor space.

United KingdomThe room was a bit dated and the smell of detergent wasn't very appealing. Nevertheless, it was clean enough.
Location as well as staff were very good. Reception helped by letting us checkin a bit earlier :)

United States of AmericaWe got a bit snacky and it was late and raining hard so we didn’t want to go out. It’s a very small note, but we were hoping to find a vending machine with snacks. Not really something we’d think about until this particular scenario came up.
Great location in the heart of the French Quartet. We had our car parked in their garage for 3 days and never used it once. And it was raining!

United States of AmericaThe restaurant on site is amazing but too small. Very limited seating, which is a shame because the food is excellent!
Close to everything in the French Quarter! Clean and comfortable! Lovely character! The staff were excellent and being only 1/2 a block off bourbon, it was amazingly very quiet! Would definitely stay again!

United KingdomGreat location, staff were very helpful. Smoking allowed on balcony with door shut as well as in the courtyard where you can also take your drinks from the bar. Swimming pool was clean and a great benefit in the Louisiana heat. Shower was very good and comfortable beds.

United States of AmericaHonestly we'd have to stretch for something negative...no Splenda for the coffee?
So many things. Staff was lovely. Our bags were taken up to the room, a cab was called and rescheduled multiple times when our flight was delayed. One of the porters took pics of us before we went out to a costume event. Pool is lovely. Location is amazing, just half a block off bourbon street. AC kept the room chilled.

This hotel is fantastic. Right near all the action but far enough that it was quiet at night. So much character and charm. Loved the little courtyard. Can’t recommend this hotel enough

United States of AmericaNot much. I didn't eat at the restaurant except for some good breakfast pastries, so I couldn't say.
I love New Orleans and this was the first time I had been back since before the pandemic. The Valentino group, which owns another lovely vintage property I've stayed at always comes across with a pleasant stay. Another thing about this particular hotel is that it's close to Bourbon Street, but it wasn't too loud!
