Not a big fan of the location. Homeless encampment right next to the parking garage is a big security concern. Breakfast tasted like it was made of sawdust but was guarded like gold at Fort Knox. I've NEVER stayed a hotel where I couldn't take breakfast back to my room.

The feeling when I arrived at the hotel in the beginning.

The hotel has some run down areas like the carpets in the hall near where I had a room. There were often faint smells of smoke. However, my room was clean and the bed comfortable. I was surprised that the hotel had a bit of servicing people who may have had housing challenges. However the room itself was nice.

We arrived after dark and feared that the place was abandoned. There were few lights, little signage, and for check-in we parked in an active road lane. Once oriented, we found plenty of parking. The hotel must be hopping during sports events.

In spite of mixed reviews we chose the hotel because of its downtown location and the offer of free parking. Unfortunately, the hotel is located on the wrong side of a huge interstate system and not suitable for exploring the lively parts of Cincinnati on foot. It is, however, within walking distance of the football and baseball stadiums. Overall, the facility is ageing and in part in poor shape. However, our room on the 5th floor had been recently refurbished. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. We were quite satisfied with our stay at the hotel and found Cincinnati fascinating, especially the riverfront and the art museum.

The property was not very clean, full of air freshers as if to try to cover other smells. The room was clean although the property as a whole is in need of repair and update.

That you have to walk around to the front door because the side door is locked and the key card doesn’t work. My room 513 needs a new toilet seat.

We stayed for 3 nights and in the second night, I asked one of the housekeeping staff for trash bags and she said, as she pushed the cart with the bags I can see, I don't have any bags! I asked the front desk for a bag later. Then, on the morning of checkout, standing in my birthday suit, my door opens and it's housekeeping staff, I yelled for to get out and that she should knock and announce who she is. It was still over an hour before checkout.

The parking garage attached to the hotel. The elevators ans hallways were clean. The room was a nice size and clean as well and comfortable.

The TV did not have a lot of channels, did not even have ESPN. The area around the hotel was sketchy especially around the gas stations across the street.

Payed for everything online. When we got there they asked for a safety deposit for the room. No heads up. Took about a week for the reimbursement. I don't mind a safety deposit. Just make it known it will be required.
