Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe toilet was installed pretty close to one wall and the toilet paper was mounted on the closest wall about toilet seat high mid seat back from the front of the toilet . You had to be a contortionist to get some paper off the roll if you were sitting on the toilet. I removed the roll and set it on the shelf below the sink to make it accessible during our stay.
Front desk staff were very personable and helpful. Great recommendations for dinner. Location of the motel is good. It was very quiet, easy access and a nice walk to downtown stores and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice tile shower. (We did stay in one of the remodeled rooms). We will more than likely stay here again if we make another overnight trip to Baker City. Breakfast included eggs, pancakes and bacon. Coffee, milk and juice as well as most things found at every "continental" breakfasts.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to town center and river walk were highlights. We had a double queen room which translated to two adjoining rooms with a queen bed in each!! Bonus was two bathrooms! Breakfast selection was pretty good.

United States of AmericaA couple of hangers on a hook would have been helpful, as we were in town for a Memorial Service.
Friendly welcome with upgrade to more private "suite". Very updated and complete including fluffy towels and "full" kitchen. So convenient for walking to Main St.

United States of AmericaMy queen room was a good size for solo travel, but might be a little too cozy for two (especially the bathroom) unless you really like each other. Outside noise from guests was a slight bother, but not the inn's fault. Nevertheless, I was very happy here.
Very clean and nicely renovated room with a comfortable bed. My room had lots of thoughtful little extras you'd find in a pricier place to stay. The breakfast was an unexpected delight with some hot items including freshly baked cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, and a cheery hello from a staff person. I'll be back.

United States of AmericaNothing comes to mind.
Nice surprise to find the rooms tastefully remodeled! (We have stayed here 4 times now.) Comfy, quiet, good healthy options for breakfast (oatmeal, 3 kinds of fresh fruit.), microwave and refrig in rooms. Even the outside area around the motel is clean, with grass and flowers now. Love that the motel is across the street from the Leo Adler Trail along the Powder River. Baker City has a nice downtown, with lots of restaurants and history. The staff is friendly.

United States of AmericaThe outside doors are naturally noisy if people forget to close them quietly, but some WD-40 on the hinges would sure be helpful.
The queen suite was well-designed and spacious enough for 2 people. I like that the rooms are clean-able...no carpet to hold odors, and the beautifully redone bathrooms! Location is perfect, near the creekside path and an easy walk to Sweet Wife, North 7 and Betty's Books. The heater/cooler is loud, but can be turned completely off for quiet sleeping. I so appreciate having both a quiet refrigerator and a functioning microwave! The staff were wonderful.
