Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomfood compared to other 5* hotels could be better, but overall, was not bad. It was a strawberry season and we had strawberries every day
we loved the hotel and the territory with pines. One of the swimming pools was heated in April which was great. The beach is sandy which was a pleasant surprise, and not expected in this area. The best advantage of this hotel is its location and proximity to the Canyon and other places for hiking.

BelarusNot always events meet program In kids club there are not enough video games (only 3 for adult mostly - just football and two some violent shooter games). As an good idea to buy just simple 8-16 bit Nintendo games - it cheep and funny Not enough sport events for teenagers. Slow answering reaction on my questions in booking.com
Family friendly hotel. It was good organized trip to Lend of Legends from CORAL agency in hotel. Especially thanks for guide Alexey. Also great possibility to have a boat 2 hours ride along coastline, the boat is moored near hotel, the Capitan is very friendly.

United KingdomThe staff on the bars and in the restaurants worked hard but there wasn't quite enough of them so at times you were waiting for drinks, etc. The drinks on offer were not high quality and the cocktails were not great (really just fruit juice with some spirits added) so they might have been better pre-mixing a batch of them in the interests of time and stress for the bar staff. A few activities were included but lots had an additional charge, e.g. using the pool table, which seemed a bit unnecessary.
We were in one of the bungalow rooms which was quite spacious, very close to the beach and also quiet at night, away from the evening entertainment venues. The staff were generally helpful and our stay was very comfortable. The food selection was good, although they were catering to lots of different tastes and some dishes were not all that great. There was a good sized swimming area in the sea and lots of sun loungers so easy to get a good spot.

BelgiumThe room "sea view" overlooked the restaurant roof and made it difficult to enjoy the sea views.
The room and the hotel in general were very nice and clean. Stuff mostly spoke several languages. No difficulties with communication. Beach and pools were clean. There were lots of fun in Children Club. The food and drinks were nice as well.

Germanythe mini bar was constantly out of order, so we asked for a technical who changed the fridge but the same happened the other day so it was useless to reinstall it once again. the buffet and ordinary breakfast / lunch/dinner have limited variations with lots of fried/ greasy food. one gets used to it so more variety would help. despite these things, our impression is absolutely positive, especially for families with kids.
very practical and at the same time wonderful hotel, close to the beach front. it took us 2-4 min to get to any point we needed. restaurant, bar, beach, spa, etc. everyone was so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay with 1 kid and an infant. the atmosphere and restaurants are 8.5 out of 10, comparing to typical Turkish resorts.

IsraelMany little but annoying things around food: - Uncomfortable dining room chairs. Chair handles prevent from chairs to go under the table so there's constant feeling of sitting too far from table - Soy milk was the real issue. I needed to ask it each time my child wanted to eat corn-flex and to wait. There were no milk shake with soy milk in kids bar. In many other hotels it's just available like a regular milk - Most adult meat dishes were to spicy for kids. My children are already eating regular food but do not like spicy food. Kids "restaurant" is for little kids --- The beach by itself quite comfortable but the picture changes right after entering water: big, slippery and uncomfortable stones instead of sand and little fishes are biting your legs
Clean and comfortable room Great kids club and water slides facility with warmed kids pool

Israelthere were a lot of decent food choices, but the food itself was decent, nothing crazy. Kabab house was good but needs a couple months in advance reservation. Italian restaurant was not good at all, I would avoid.
The hotel is wonderfully kept, very pleasant to walk around. all the activities for the kids were great and the kids club was a life saver. pools and beach were great, and there's always something to eat.

GermanyThe main problem with this hotel was the air conditioning in the common places. We had stayed at the same hotel last year, also, and at that time this was not an issue at all. However, this year, the A/C was either not working or being operated at a very low setting in the lobby and indoor restaurant area. This made eating or spending some relaxing time in the lobby area highly uncomfortable. The main reason is probably the very high electricity prices in Turkey in this year (for which the hotel has no responsibility, of course). Nevertheless, this A/C problem was quite annoying. The employees were also complaining, because they are constantly working under these uncomfortable conditions.
The personnel were very friendly, always smiling, working hard. The nightly entertainment programs were of high quality. The rooms are highly comfortable.
