Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsPity that the roughly 25 rooms are small, sparsely furnished and limited in terms of decoration, lighting, warm water and bathroom space. Next disappointment was that the room service, a good daily cleaning, sometimes forgot to lock our room door or cut the light (with the bathroom air blower on). It showed the laissez-vivre attitude of the staff and of the whole place.
The Esquire hotel- restaurant is located on the main road into the centre of Kemer where much larger, pompous hotels, more exclusive shops and restaurants with more neon lights compete for attention. The Esquire fairly fits into the glamour that surrounds it but is not over the top. Modern interior, good staff (though not all well-spoken in English, probably better in Russian) and a decent menu, which merely present pasta and other Western dishes with a slight Turkish sense. The pool area is spacious and gives a direct sense of relaxation. Views of the Olympos mountain range from your pool bed and a cocktail and water-pipe bar to accomplish it. If you don’t mind having a room where you need to stock your luggage on the relatively spacious balcony in order to be able to somehow easily reach the toilet during the night, this hotel offers a more than decently priced possibility. Additional advantage: sufficient parking options next to the hotel. Plus, Kemer being a close to upper-class Mediterranean seaside town that sees quite a lot of Russian guests though not overly disturbing as English or Dutch holiday youths in Spain or Greece. For us, being active and merely using our hotel room to sleep, Esquire was sufficient, though they might have better spent the space of balconies and large internal reading room in room space for the guests. Or at least try to bring some of the glamour of the main floor into the rooms. A missed chance.

MoroccoThe rooms could have more light, and the pool bar could be more fun with more music.
The hotel has a great location and offers a free ride to the beach everyday. The food is fresh and very tasty (i recommend the turkish breakfast). Morad was very nice and professional, he gave us advice during all our trip and was always ready to help, special thanks to him.

United KingdomConsiderably clean place to spend your night(s) while travelling or passing by. you will be satisfied at this point as it is good value for money.
If you are looking for holidays then you will probably be disappointed because it is very basic, oldish and small... the entrance, backyard (pool) and reception areas looks stylish though.

UkraineVery modest shover. Strange smell in the bathroom (probably poison for cockroaches) Small and overpriced breakfast (In Kemer marina it’s possible to eat bigger breakfast for less $) Private beach price is not included (transfer on demand is free of charge)
Live music, room with a balcony, few parking spaces in front of hotel.

Our stay at Esquires hotel was just what we needed, relaxing and comfortable! We have spend 20 days and felt like home. The suites are cosy, spacious and very comfortable. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The swimming pool looks great (we did not use it as we preferring beach over swimming pools). The staff is so friendly and ready to help at anytime. Thank you guys , Hussein, Murad , Dennis, You are amazing! As we are quite picky with what we’re eating , the Chef carefully listen to our needs and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much Chef for keeping our stomachs happy everyday! The hotel is just 5 min from the busy centre with restaurants and shops and 8-10min to the beach. The beach is beautiful with so many water activities. The water was just perfect for swimming. You can rent a chair for 3$ or have the option of laying on your towel for free. The choice is yours. We really enjoyed our stay in Kemer and happy we chose Esquires hotel. We are already missing it!

Russiathis hotel is NOT on the first line and DOES NOT have it's "own beach area" as it's stated on booking.com there's a nice pool area, but the seaside pictures in the hotel's profile belong to some neighbouring beach club with has an entrance fee and is open to public. this has been a disappointment for us.
the hotel looks new, very stylish and well maintained. the restaurant staff is nice & helpful
