Ocean view is good but to no fault to hotel, the marina gets noisy from Friday night to Sunday. Weekday stay is nice and quiet. Jacuzzi pool water is a little too cool to my taste and not strong enough as a few guests also had commented while I was in the pool. There was no hot water pot or coffee maker at my room for 2 days till I asked for it, and they brought it right away

I like my ocean view and great selection for breakfast. Dinner time they also have a reasonable price buffet and services are great. Rooms are big and common area including lobby to restaurant have lots of space which I like during covid times. Lots of room to be a little bit socially distance. I like the Steam room there too. Staff are great. They bring everything that I need right away

The AC unit was a bit loud for my taste. Works in the harbor, even on a Saturday, were quite loud - but that should be done soon.

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at this hotel due to over booking. We did, however, receive superb support from Mario who ensured that we were able to stay at a nearby hotel. Thanks to Mario, we enjoyed the last 2 days of our vacation in Ponta Delgada.

There was nothing wrong.

The room was a really good size with very comfortable bed and having a bath was a bonus. The view from the room was excellent looking onto the sea. Like most hotels milk is no longer provided in the room but once I asked for some it was brought up immediately from the restaurant.

The room had a lovely balcony with sea view. The location was excellent, close to the Marina, shops and restaurants. The breakfast served at the hotel was also very good with lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Too expensive for what you get. Breakfast lacked of choice compared to other 4* hotels I stayed at before. The room’s fridge didn’t seem to work properly.

Overall the hotel was great! Great amenities and location.

The room was clean a comfortable, a good size and had a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The included breakfast had a good selection of food which all looked fresh and tasted great. I enjoyed using the onsite pool.

The only thing I could complain about it that at some times, there were too many people queuing for breakfast than I would like, but that's life ;)

Super friendly staff that not only let me check in early after an early morning flight, but provided me with an upgrade, as well. The hotel is not the most modern, but everything was spotless and worked well (which I cannot say about their supposedly "fancier" sister hotel Terra Nostra...). Breakfast was great for Portuguese/Southern European standards. The pool and sauna were a big bonus (and barely used by anybody, I had it for myself on two nights).

Parking not included although we stayed during the low season. Also rented a car from the company Wayzor, a subsidiary company located on the ground floor of the hotel and apart from the overpriced service and the extra fee to return the vehicle to the airport, it was then when it was confirmed that parking was not included. Does not make much sense to me, hence no 10.

Excellent location, wide range of amenities included that did not have the time to use. Good breakfast, very happy for having a room with sea view to watch the raging waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Very helpful staff, spacious room.

The AC is not available during winter months. The room would be so hot and stuffy at night and opening the slider door was usually a problem at night (terrible howling wind and rain storms that would bring rain in room and if not stormy then people/cars out on promenade till morning sunup making so much noise). We stayed here for 6 nights so it was a bit bothersome as the hotel advertises AC in all rooms. But the control in room only allowed heat or fan (which fan was not even felt when running). When we asked after our first hot night, that’s when they told us the AC is shut off for the whole hotel during winter. This hotel was great in all other ways but this really was bothersome for us since we were in the room for a week.

Comfortable, safe, super clean! We enjoyed everything about our 6 night stay with the exception of not having AC available.

Nothing except adding more food selections to the menus. Though, they were certainly very good now.

The location was perfect - right on the marina. There were a number of great restaurants within walking distance. The staff went above and beyond in their customer service especially the front desk staff. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and of high quality. Lovely music in the lounge was an added bonus. I will stay here again on my next visit and feel it deserves the highest rating.
