Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainNothing to add.
Quiet location and 15’ away by bus from main Hiroshima historic reference points. Compared to other hotels I’ve been in Japan, the room was pretty spacious, in fact was like a little appartment with all facilities (kitchen, washer, etc).

CanadaNothing really. The whole experience and stay were fantastic.
It was an amazing experience! The room was huge, with a nice layout, the location was fantastic, the view from outside the room was breathtaking, and there was a balcony inside the room. It totally exceeded my expectations as I wasn't expecting anything as good as I got for the price I paid. Wish I stayed there longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As I arrived early, I was able to drop my luggage and leave to explore the city; when I came back, they already put my luggage in the room for me which I wasn't expecting.

United States of AmericaHard to say, I loved everything about it
Amazing value, biggest room I had in Japan. Felt super safe and had everything I needed. Biggest perk was in-unit laundry and apartment style room. Close to Shinkansen station and main attractions. Did not need to use subway, very walkable to main attractions. Loved my stay here!

GreeceThe hotel is on a quite busy avenue. I was on the 3rd floor and there was a lot of noise. The ventilation system was somehow bringing more noise in. The staff at the reception was very kind to give me a big tape to put around the ventilator to reduce it. I am neither a light sleeper, nor a heavy one, but that solution worked for me and didn't affect at all the comfort of my stay there!
Clean to perfection! I had absolutely a comfortable stay there! Polite and helpful staff..

This is not a room but a suite with a spacious living room, smallish kitchen with a table and chairs. The bedroom is modern with comfortable beds and tatami mat floors. The bathroom is large with an ofuro (wooden tub) off of the shower. There’s also a small washing machine. It’s walking distance to Hiroshima Castle and the Peace Park. There’s a grocery store close by, a plus since there is a full kitchen. Pots and pans must be borrowed at the front desk. Overall, the hotel is nondescript but clean and well maintained. The gentleman who checked us in spoke beautiful English. He was so kind, helpful, and gracious … I wish I could remember his name.

AustraliaEverything was good.
The hotel was very close to Hiroshima Castle and Shukkeien Gardens. It was close to a tram line although it was still walking distance to other sites. The hotel was very clean and the bath was wonderful after a long day out and about. The staff were quick to anticipate our needs including offering umbrellas on a wet day. Leaving our luggage in storage on arrival and departure was very helpful.

AustraliaMinor complaint was a little bit far from public transport when going to Hiroshima station.
Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room. Was one of my best stays during my trip to japan and mid range hotels. After some of the other 3 and 4 star hotels this one felt like 5!

United States of AmericaIt is very close to both the JR and bullet train tracks, and you can feel the vibrations when the bullet train goes by. It's really not bad but if you really hate the noise of trains you might notice it.
The room was very large, especially by business hotel standards, and for a very good price. Honestly gives the vibes of a nice apartment building that was turned into a hotel. Closeness to public transport a big plus, not far from Shinhakushima station and and less than a block from the closest bus stop and the end of one of the tram lines is just past that.

We stayed on two non-consecutive nights. The hotel stored our bags and then had them in our room when we arrived for our second stay. My son also locked out room key in our room. They had no problem giving us another key.
