“Hotel is set in an old traditional unprepossessing building, but has been refurbished inside to a good standard, incorporating many modern features whilst retaining old brickwork, flag stones, etc. well done. Staff were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the town, happily allowing us to leave our cases at reception when we arrived very early. An unexpected facility was a lovely quiet patio area at the back of the hotel with tables/chairs/sun shades and a loyalty bar. Good selection at breakfast.”
