We arrived just as a coach tour arrived too meaning check-in was delayed. Would recommend booking dinner in case of a tour group staying at the same time.

Spacious room, TV with Netflix etc, comfortable bed and room, beautiful views from the hotel and nice lounge rooms to take in the views. The dinner and breakfasts were good.

View over loch was lovely. Comfortable room . 20 minute drive from Fort William. Onsite restaurant with staff doing their best in busy times. Helpful, friendly reception staff.

Room had no view at all, looked out on a wall & roof. An admin error on booking had to be fixed by Bookings.com, hotel could not amend any details. Worth mentioning that it was handled in no time by Bookings.com.

Delicious breakfast with the pastries deserving of a special mention. Views from breakfast room and lounge area. History of this beautiful building and hotel. Location of this hotel is just breathtaking, they also send information in advance for meals and facilities options.

The restaurant was overpriced, not very good, and the service was beyond lacking.

This was a nice stay but by far my least favorite accommodation during my 8-day stay in Scotland. While my room was cozy and very clean, it was loud and quite hot and the window faced a hallway and mechanics, offering zero privacy. Overall, the price point is too much for the location.

This was an odd experience. When we arrived no one was at the front desk and there was a sign saying they’d be right back. We waited for over 15 minutes before going to find someone at the bar who said he’s the front desk person, but had to work at the bar. The restaurant service was also awful. Our reservation was at 8:15 and nobody came to take our order. By 8:50 we still hadn’t placed a drink order. We had to go find someone to place an order. Oddly, the same person who was working the front desk and bar was also our server. It’s obvious they are severely understaffed which made for a bumpy experience. The food was great and the person that helped us was pleasant, but for the cost I’d say this is not worth the stay.

Guest rooms were very comfortable and very nicely maintained. The hotel is very old and is showing its age. Floors are very creaky and the lobby area is in desperate need of a makeover. The grounds outside and the golf course were beautiful.

I actually booked our stay there because the communal sitting room looked so nice, and I thought the fireplaces were wood burning. They aren't working fireplaces. Other than that, they were nice rooms.

The bathroom and tub were great. Very clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing with great views of the lake.
