You couldn’t always find a member of staff when you wanted one - so at breakfast they had run out of eggs on one day and it took a while until we could let them know. But, once found, staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The location was decent, and parking was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful, the bar stayed open later than expected and breakfast was nice.

Much of interior looks tired or worn e.g. peeling paint, chair in room sewn up to fix large tears, water marks all up the bathroom wall. 24 hour room service is advertised, not available and much of the menu was not available. Photos on Booking.com make the property look much more upmarket than it actually is.

The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, evening dinner menu small but really tasty. Great location.

Front of house although vert helpful could have presented themselves abit smarter the way they were dressed..need to be dressed appropriately.

As others have already mentioned, it is looking tired. Our bathroom had large chip in sink unit and cracked in sink but we're still functional. Shower tap was stiff but functional. No USB points but plenty of electric points so with a plug adapter still can charge things. Breakfast had good choices but some of the cooked items were dry.

The hotel looked tired and had seen better days, looked like it was set up more for conferences and weddings

We booked in as we were visiting family, the room was on the top floor and was so hot, the shower leaked all over the floor, sink cracked. Did try to upgrade but was told it was full Opening the windows we were kept awake most nights by the noise of the air conditioning over the hotel Such a shame as I had Always wanted to stay at this hotel

Easy access from the motorway, central for what we needed. Plenty of parking. Friendly check in and decent sized room. Comfortable bed and what we needed for one night. We didn't get chance to check out the leisure facilities. Breakfast selection was great and excellent service.

The rooms are a little dated could do with a freshening up a little. But other than that it's very relaxing and an all round lovely hotel.

It was peaceful and quiet. Bath in the rooms definitely a selling point for me. It wasnt too busy the facilities are chilled... We have been back to use the pool with our children too as it's warm and relaxing there. Be seeing us lots more too.

The hotel feels a little dated internally in terms of the styling of the rooms. The bed that was in felt a little hard. My main issue with the hotel was the changing facilities for the pool / gym. You need a padlock (not provided) to secure your items in a locker. Not many guests would come prepared for this. I ended up having to carry my items in the gym, and didnt use the pool as i would have to leave the locker unsecured with my valubles in. I was told on checkout that they do not provide Invoices to guests who book through booking.com - which i have never experienced at any other hotel - you are the service provider. However the person dealing with my checkout did print an invoice (even though the was "not supposed to")

The hotel was conveniently located for my work trip with easy access to the M61. The breakfast was nice with some varied options available for most tastes.
