The noise. Didnt realise it was over a club. I love karaoke, but not in my room when I'm trying to sleep.

The mirror in the bathroom was too small, and there was no shelf for makeup or toiletries It often wasn't possible to get the television to actually show a working channel.

The ambience of the hotel and the room itself is fabulous. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. I didn't mind the room being over the Viaduct bar and by the railway as I was there for a night out.

Not a complaint but reinforcing the observation on the hotels website that is can be a bit noisy outside a closing time - you are provided with ear plugs

I was expecting a bigger balcony in our room with two chairs so we could both sit outside but the floor was flooded and only enough room for one wonky chair and table, I understand that the space is nothing you can change but the floor being flooded and advertising a bigger space can be changed. And also a nicer touch would be a kettle and some tea and coffee in the rooms so in the morning or before going to bed at night guests dont have to get dressed and go to the entrance for a drink

Considering there was a bottle of pink prosecco in the room, it was a shame not to have a method to chill it (no mini fridge or ice). I'm sure we could've asked the friendly staff though. I'm sure a lot of people will have pointed out the noise level, which is definitely not ideal, however the hotel tells you about this in advance and provides complimentary ear plugs so my mentioning it is purely for full transparency.

The room was spacious and tidy! Bed was comfy and curtains especially were good black out curtains so no early morning sun wake up call. The wine, snacks and amenities in the room to purchase (though we didn't buy) were a great addition. Ear plugs were also provided due to the location of the hotel being both above a lively bar and right next to the train tracks.

As it’s above a club and theres a busy train track next to the hotel it was quite noisy.

We liked the balcony room, staff were really friendly and helpful as there was a problem with the booking going through to them.

Walls are paper thin. you can hear everything from either side. whether it be people just chatting, what they are watching on tv or having sex. The hotel is also right on top of a night club and by the rail line. The club kept me up till very late despite the complimentary ear plugs provided. The train line didn't bother me that much but there were generators from building work opposite the window which started up early.

The location is very close to the station and in a vibrant area. The bed was nice as was the decor and room.

I'd booked for early check in and when I got there no one knew nothing about it They emailed to say I would receive a door code which I never got because I don't have an English phone number And the noise from downstairs was far too loud which they do warn you about but I didn't realise it would sound like I was sleeping in the bar

Not sure about the shower being in full view of the room . The noise was horrendous. Tv didn’t work girl on reception said to ask the person on reception when we came back but there was no one there when we came back so had no tv

Didn’t realise how close the property was to the train lines, right outside room 14 the door opened to the train track being right out there, every few mins a train passes which makes it quite loud without the ear plugs
