I was a little disappointed as this lodge was advertised as having a machine machine (it doesn't) and there isn't a laundry on site either. I packed under the pretence of doing some washing whilst there. The TV had lots of interference, Netflix/prime wouldn't work (tried logging in to our own accounts) and the TV would crash/turn off - we eventually got digital TV something like on Saturday evening. Being a little picky - but the decking was covered in moss/algae/green stuff around the edges - could do with a little jet wash. We did report this to reception upon departure and they said they would report that and the slight leak under the sink to maintenance, so hopefully that is resolved for the next people staying there.

We had a really nice 2 night stay at this property. The lodge itself was clean, warm and comfortable. Decor was nice and modern. Had a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, hand wash, washing up liquid and a sponge, cutlery etc, and some tea/coffee which was a nice touch. Bedding and towels were clean. Overall we would recommend. Restaurant on site was lovely - we ate our evening meal on arrival and enjoyed our breakfast upon departure. The staff were friendly. We didn't see much of the site. The recent heavy rainfall meant a lot of the site was waterlogged/large puddles and we had a little rain whilst there too, although the ducks seem to enjoy it! The site grounds were overall well maintained and litter free.

Great lodge on a great sight. We've had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. The restaurant on site was amazing, and the grounds well looked after. The lodge was clean and modern. It felt like home.

Mattress was rock hard, didnt sleep well, had to strip own beds at the end of stay. Wouldn't expect this for the price. Stayed in cheaper places where this wasn't expected.

I had messaged through the booking.com app to try ask something to the lodge owners, I never got any replies. Not sure if that was booking.com or them. However cannot fault anything else!

Me and and my partner absolutely loved this lodge! It was extremely clean, tidy and just a beautiful location. The hot tub was a perfect touch!! Just gutted we didn't book longer, although we will be back.

Cups and glasses were dirty Baking tray had been left in oven from previous person and it was filthy Shower was disgusting, it’s in need of a entire scrub out with bleach. The hot tub was freezing cold at one point gentleman came to sort it was slightly better afterwards

- We had a wasps nest under our decking next to the hot tub, we informed the reception but they wasn’t keen to help as we informed them about 4. They had maintenance come round and have a look but couldn’t do anything. It was the week when it was the heat wave so you can imagine how hot it was in the lodge as we couldn’t even open the doors or windows!

- The location was lovely - The staff in the restaurant were so friendly

The staff were completely inept. The TV didn't work, the dining table bench was broken. We reported this to the staff & they fobbed us off. After we got home we contacted them about an item we had left behind. I rang at least 6 times & spoke to them about it. Suffice to say we didn't get our possession back & after my final call complaining about their lack of help I was assured it would be looked into & that I would be contacted the next day. After over a month I have had no phone call from them. They are completely inept & unhelpful. They are quick to take your money but their company is shoddy & absolutely unprofessional. I would not recommend a stay here. There are so many things wrong I can't list them all.

Can’t check in while 4 and have to be out by 10. Doesn’t give you much time when only booking for a couple of nights. Couldn’t get booked into restaurant on site so had to travel into nearest village.

it was not very clean. The main toilet was not cleaned properly with pubic hairs round the base. The covers over the extraction fans were very dirty. The bed was so uncomfortable that we left early. Disappointed at the torn net curtains. I asked a member of staff for a piece of equipment (potato masher) she said that there should be one. But she never brought one. Not really 5 star.

It was well equipped and warm. Clean towels and linen.
