It was tbh tired and a bit shabby - in desperate need of refurbishment. And as always please please can we have have some plugs or usbs near to the bed?

Everything was fine and was clean. The staff were friendly and excellent - Hannah on reception, the lady in the spa, the team at breakfast and Joe in the bar were particularly good.

Although the room was very clean and comfortable, it had a rather ‘tired’ feel. The nets had a ripped hem trailing down the wall and small rips. The bath was rather narrow and had a rather tatty side panel. The furniture had seen better days, peeling varnish and raised veneer.

Good setting and location. Excellent dining area with great breakfasts. Very friendly and approachable staff.

Aircon in all three rooms I tried not working, with the result that the rooms were too hot and airless. And the hotel has no fans to offer

Considering I paid over £200 for the room I thought it was very basic, the tv kept messing up so had to keep turning it off and on. Couldn’t get no food after 9:45pm which was really surprising , very shocked that room service wasn’t available.

Corridors were loud (not a whole lot of soundproofing) and the event we were in kept getting interrupted by people not invited to the function - could have been better managed by the hotel.

Room was clean, had all the needed amenities, staff were friendly, price was as expected for what we received, breakfast was good with a lot of selection.

Our rooms newly refurbished and comfy however the rest of hotel need renewal, very poor spa facilities, no jacuzzi working, dirty overcrowded sauna, changing rooms awful condition.

Staff super friendly and always happy to help, Especially ladies on breakfast duties. Also reception staff helping us at midnight with extra duvets:). Restaurant food fantastic

The jacuzzi was not working and it would have been nice to have been informed in advance, as we chose the hotel with the leisure facilities in mind.

Breakfast very good choice. Room clean and well maintained. Asked for and received a quiet room. Easy parking. Swimming pool clean and changing rooms maintained well.

WIFI- Absolutely fine for emails etc but I had a zoom call during the Tuesday morning which was actually a job interview so was disappointed when the hour long call had to be abandoned after 30 minutes & rescheduled for later in the week because the internet wasn't able to sustain the call, screen freeze, voice dropping & trying to reconnect made it virtually impossible to continue. Paid / premium Wi-Fi service wasn't an option. I found out later when mentioning it at reception that I could have requested to use a separate business service room where there was a better Wi-Fi available but by that time it was too late.

We were promised signature cookies on arrival, there weren’t any available at 13:00 or 20:00. We were promised some for the next morning instead, there weren’t any. The male on reception desk was unnecessarily over-engaging with a man checking in ahead of us when we got back at 20:00, and took so long with him (we didn’t even get an “I’ll be with you in a moment”), we were left waiting over 10 minutes, so we gave up. One of the cleaners was rather grumpy, all the others were excellent. Hannah on reception was excellent.

Room was ok. Lacked a pack of biscuits (as no cookies on reception), there were no water bottles, had to get those from reception. Breakfast was excellent Bed was clean and comfortable Bathroom was very good
