Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe men's toilets were disgusting, poo all over the toilets, there had been a coach trip in and left the hotel at 8am, we believe it was them that left the toilets in a mess.This was reported to the receptionist, unfortunately the cleaner hadn't started work, so we had to go up to the room to use the toilet.
It's the convenience to the airport, and Happy hour.

United KingdomThe parking isn't very good. I'm disabled and there are only 4? TINY DISABLED spaces (full) and the whole car park was full. Not much room to maneuver. Lady on reception didn't offer to help me, said i can drop my bags, go find a space and then check in (travelling alone, first time away in a while and i felt really anxious and sad by this). The hotel decor is very dated. Lots of 'retro' wooden furniture in the rooms. Handles fall off. No vegan breakfast options. Bed in room very narrow and could do with some thinner pillows. Whole building could do with being updated, lick of paint, new furniture and beds.
The breakfast staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was clean, I could open the window for fresh air. Accessible as on the ground floor. Quiet. Had a bath in the en suite and the shower, although old was powerful and warm. Across the road, and you're at the airport, so the location is brilliant, and it's easy to get to. Fairly decent prices to stay and park/ fly

The hotel is very close to Newcastle Airport, which was great for checking in for an early flight. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine and good value for the price, apart from it smelled of stale cigarette smoke
