Great location for my short stay in Alicante. Hotel was super clean, staff friendly and bed comfy! Plus the addition of the rooftop bar area. Great place to invite friends based here in Alicante! Super quiet room also considering the very central location. Not easy to find a quiet room in Alicante Centro

Nothing bad to say, a little noisy in the early hours but you are in the city centre....

The hotel is in a brilliant location with easy access to the beach, marina area, bars and restaurants! The roof top bar is great with amazing views over the city. The staff were also great. The rooms a really well decorated and we had 5 balconies!!

The only negative we could mention was that there was no door to separate the bathroom

Great location, a beautiful room overlooking the main square with two small French balconies, with good sound insulation so that it was perfectly quiet even though the square was busy. The hotel is very well designed, with helpful and friendly staff.

Extremely noisy, our room had windows to the wall of the next house so eas completely dark even during the day you felt there like in a cave.

compact reception w/o lounge, but it can be found on the upper floor.

It was great - newly decorated hotel, designer furniture, comfy beds/pillows, spacious rooms, well-stocked minibar. The hotel is not "resort-like", so if you're looking for that kind of stay - you might want to look elsewhere.

Eurostars Pórtico Alicante is perfectly located in the heart of Alicante, next to the Ayuntamento of Alicante-City Hall and just in-front of the vast plaza. It is walking distance from the train station(20mins), port area(5 mins)and the sea beach(10mims). We walked to the hotel which was a 20 mins walk from the train station through narrow and charming streets, clicking numerous pictures on our way. One can also take a bus or a cab. Alicante is truly a beautiful beach city with a labyrinth of picturesque narrow streets, full of restaurants, bars and cafeterias where one would like to get lost in over and over again. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel since we wanted to try the numerous cafeterias around. It was our 3rd visit to Alicante, a short one and we stayed there for a day (we had identified the location to stay at this area during our second visit since our hotel during the 2nd visit was far, and we were not disappointed at all). The staff is excellent, they speak English and are very helpful with information about what we can do and see. We were visiting Alicante during the Easter time and the staff gave us the timings of the parade and also when the shops might be closed for the Easter. Our room overlooking the plaza and with a little view of the sea was big, well lit and comfortable. Would recommend free walking tours which start just 3-4 mins away from the ice cream parlour- Peret on the main promenade on the main road.

Very good location in the middle of the old town. Easy to reach by airport bus C-6. A totally renovated building with a nice rooftop bar with nice views to the Castell de Santa Barbara. Rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff was friendly as were all other staff members too. Excellent morning breakfast. Strong recommodation.
