Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyI stay here often for work and it never disappoints. The rooms are very very clean, spacious and with huge bathrooms, the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in a hotel and the staff is always attentive. Excellent location right downtown Mannheim.

AustraliaSome of the staff at the breakfast service were rude. The space was quite full with guests and it was a challenge finding a table. A large table of 8 was reserved and it seemed unclear if the whole table was reserved or not. I sat down at one end with my toddler who was super hungry and to my surprise, a staff very rudely asked me to leave the table instantly and yelled at me for not seeing the reserved sign. To this I asked for help to find another table and I was told that it was my job to find the table. To my relief another staff member came running to me and apologised for the misunderstanding and found a table for me. That other staff was still yelling. This was very upsetting given that the hotel was superb and also the food on offer was really great. That table was unoccupied for the next 45 mins!
The Location of the hotel is very central and was perfect for us. We were within two minutes of walking distance from the Christmas market and all prominent shopping places and restaurants. Also, the hotel design and ambience were fantastic. Very roomy, filled with light and lots of facilities. Our room was exactly like the images; it was spotless, super spacious, and modern. We were extremely happy with the room. The breakfast was also delicious; there was a lot on offer, including a hot breakfast prepared on order, which I always loved.
