The kids particularly loved coming back from a long day of hiking and going to the Arcade room. They especially liked the air hockey. They also loved making smores in the fire outside. For the adults, we loved the all the hotel. The service and attention from the staff was exceptional. And the service seemed genuine in the sense that the staff really wanted to make sure we had a great experience. Finally, though we didn't make use of them, they had several things available to make the most of your time in Yosemite (for example, spikes to add to your shoes for the snow/ice).

I liked how close to nature we were - in fact the staff told us there were bear sightings on the day we arrived. We unfortunately (or fortunately) didn't get to be face to face with a bear, but even if we did, the staff gave us tips to keep safe. We came on a moonless, clear night and saw the milky way! Absolutely amazing. I wish we also stayed a few days longer so we could kayak in the lake right in front of the house.
