The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the location was excellent, and the 5th floor pool was very nice especially around 7pm when the sunset came. The hotel was clean and did an excellent buffet breakfast.They were able to arrange day trips out and taxis when needed, rooms were spacious with great views of the ocean.

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was perhaps the most ideal, relaxing stay we have ever experienced. My husband actually sat still for several days, poolside, and read a book (!!!), dipped in the pool occasionally, slept in the shade, meditated on the ocean scene spread out before him (jet skis far enough in the distance to be interesting but not noisy, parasails colorfully dotting the warm blue skies against puffy white clouds). Breakfast was declicious with western and suburb local offerings—-and plenty of everything. Bar service was exceptional throughout the day. We dined on site one night and the menu, food, and service on the beach was, again, exceptional. The entire staff was all smiles and eager to please—-we felt so very welcome. And—drum roll: the turndown service each evening was charming! We would go out to dinner (the hotel is steps away from the throng of downtown Cenang with all it’s shopping and dining options) though the facility itself feels miles removed) and when we’d return to our room, the lights were dimmed, soft jazz was playing on the internet radio, the sheets were exquisitely “turned” with clever little tokens of paper messages about the weather forecast for the next day, suggestions of what to do, etc. It was like getting a fortune cookie on your bed (without the calories!). Speaking of calories, as part of the turndown service, they also provided large ceramic mugs with fixings for either tea or hot chocolate. And they always had a jar of peanuts and coconut cookies to nibble on throughout the day. And we strongly encourage folks to reserve a “high tea” at least one afternoon. Their tiered trays of savory and patisserie dainties was just as delightful as everything else. We originally considered staying at the hotel further north—-the one with the rooms out over the water. But we opted to be within walking distance of town/activity and we are so very, very glad with out choice. Casa Del Mar is an exceptional hotel and great value!

There is nothing near the accommodation, so you have to use Grab to go anywhere. 2. You can also order food from their restaurant in the afternoon, and it’s not very expensive. 3. I really like the atmosphere of their breakfast, it has a country and leisurely feel.

El Langkawi Chantique está situado a solo 15 minutos en coche a través de una carretera local del aeropuerto internacional de Langkawi. Very clean and peaceful. Great pool area. Enjoyed sitting under the fan on the terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice and clean. All staff are friendly. The food is good too. Nice to travel with young baby.
