We asked for an additional request to decorate balloons for our baby's first birthday. They decorated it well. Also, we lost one of our gold dollar and the staffs were patient enough to help us find it. My parents and in laws loved the cow farm. We did milk a cow using our hands.The bullock cart was also fun. Not just me, there were 7 of us in our party and all of us enjoyed our stay. The bajji and tea that were served from the thallu vandi kadai setup was an icing on the cake along with the Ilayaraja songs played on the side on a cozy rainy evening.

We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.

The gardens are amazing and the peacocks add a colorful but noisy additional touch! The staff are very warm and friendly and quick to respond to requests. The food is also quite delicious - fresh organic fruit and veggies. They make the food only after you order so it takes a while but is worth the wait. We couldn’t try the Ayurvedic treatments as our schedule was very tight but as we plan to come back that’s ok. The quaint tea kadai was a lovely experience . We’d say this is a must stay place if you come to Kumbakonam!

Mud blocks, natural finishing walls, nice pool, wonderful home made food. C19 safety measures followed... Well maintained property and its new and all at reasonable price. We would love to come back later nov. Pre-booked already :) for a week stay. The owner of the property is an passionate person.
