Located on the slopes of a volcano in the heart of Pilanesberg National Park, Kwa Maritane Lodge offers free WiFi and the reserve boasts two tennis courts and two swimming pools of which one features... The location is very good. The breakfast and dinner is very delicious. The staff was very helpfull. It is very children friendly. There is a kids pool and playground and even kiddies programm. Everything was very clean and neat.

Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. This lodge deserves all the stars it can get. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with professionalism and friendliness. The staff were exceptional! We loved our room, with the exquisite bath and outdoor shower. The game drives were great and our guide superb. The first night we arrived we were treated with dinner in the boma area which was a real treat. We even experienced rhinos coming to drink water from the bar area during check-in. Hats off to the staff and everyone running Shepards Tree as we will be back!
