Jan Harmsgat Country House is set in a historic 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by the Langeberg Mountains and the Breede River. wonderful place, staff was excellent, great dinner and breakfast as well as great location for wine travellers.

This guesthouse is located in the town of Swellendam. Rooms feature antique furnishings and views of the Langeberg Mountains or the gardens. Free Wi-fi is available in all rooms. Wonderful hostess, place with an inspiring mission statement, historical rennovated buildings with a lot of character. There was a heater and the blankets were very warm. Great location with secure parking. Nice breakfast!

De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. Beautiful traditional thatched buildings set in beautifully maintained gardens. Our cottage was spacious and tastefully decorated. Water bed was sensational. I think that was my second experience of a water bed and loved it. Jocelyn and Linda were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and some lovely choices of continental and cooked dishes. Walking distance to the town, delightful cafes and restaurants. The museum is a must visit. Roy, the owner was very kind and interested in our well being. Pool was sensational!!!🤣

A Riverbed Guesthouse in Swellendam has 4-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The property is set less than 1 km from top restaurants, shops and Drostdy Museum. Fantastic stay at a very reasonable price. Book it!
