Spent two nights at Anderson Inn doing a roadtrip with my (at the time) significant other. Of the 7 places we stayed at this was my favorite. A very nicely decorated room with a high ceiling. A quiet location with a balcony with a view on the "Rock". Good facilities. It was quite romantic and the location is perfect.

WE have visited San Luis Obipo many times and have walked by the Hotel San Luis Obispo. WE never booked it because of its high price. This time, tired of the overprced and often run-down hotels and motels in town we decided to spend more and book a room. We were very impressed with teh hotel design, teh larger, modern and comforatble room and all the amenites including apool taht was heated to be very comfortable. And the staff!- Wveryone was vey friendly and helpful. I spoke to one of the staff and complimented her and the hotel. One more thing- the next morning we planned to have Brunch at a local restaurant we know. We decied at teh last minute to have brunch at the hotel instead, to give it a try. We ordered the moked samon. Instead of being just the usual simple combination of salmon, cream cheese and bagel with maybe some tomotoes, capers, etc. this cama on a large plate with a big portion of salmon with pesto, really freash tomotoes, caper beriies, jalapenos, pickled onions, capers, Calabrian style red chili peppers, a salad and more. it was the absolutely best I've ever had, and we've been to many high-end restaurants. We thinkl the hotela nd restaurant hit a home run!

Estero Inn bevindt zich in Morro Bay, op 18 minuten lopen van Morro Rock Beach, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken, rookvrije kamers, watersportfaciliteiten, gratis WiFi en een barbecue. Super hotel! Kamer heel leuk met balkon aan het water. Bij binnenkomst kregen we champagne.

Cambria Shores Inn ligt in Cambria, op een paar minuten lopen van Moonstone Beach en 50 km van Paso Robles Event Center, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... I initially booked this place because I liked the idea of being able to sit on the Adirondack chairs while enjoying the scenery of Moonstone Beach. What I got was way better. I got the view plus a free glass of wine from their wine tasting collaboration with a local restaurant and what better way to wind down after a day of being on the road. Our car battery was in fumes as we arrived and promptly gave out on us and we still had to get to Santa Barbara the next day. Luckily for us, Lou (the GM) stepped in and took charge. He disconnected the battery (very wise move) from the car and contacted the local mechanic and auto parts shop and miraculously found us the right battery. (We were really blessed) We were back on the road the next day with no delay and a peace of mind. They are doggie friendly btw. Breakfast was hanged outside our room in the morning in a charming basket and there are fresh baked cookies and brownies daily. There are even doggie biscuits, which had me wishing I had brought my dog. So yes, there are plenty of hotels along moonstone beach Dr all offering great scenic views and all at the same great location. However, you can get the same location, breakfast, and similar rooms all along moonstone beach Dr.,but you cannot beat the hospitality at Cambria Shores Inn. After all, we take vacations to replenish our hearts and refresh our spirits, the warmth we received at Cambria Shores Inn made it that much easier and so much better.
