We arrived at dark, in rain, several hours after the office was closed, equipped with (excellent) text message instructions for where to find the envelope with keys. The envelope also contained a map of the property, so finding our room was a breeze. Within minutes, we were all settled in the cozy living room. Fabulously close to Crystal Mt. resort, much nicer than the accommodation facilities near the gondola, with a well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher!) Alta is the perfect place for a winter getaway.

The "Double R Diner" is a 5 minute walk. I would be happy if we had the opportunity to spend a few days here again at some point.

It is a property with a nice mountain view on one side and river view on another side. I liked the hot tub outside. It was nice to chill there after a snowboarding day :)
