Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking. The hotel has just renovated this year 2024, so everything is new and clean. The room site was slightly larger than normal hotel room in Taiwan and the bed was comfy. In the toilet, there was an automatic toilet, like Japanese toilet, and they provided 2 large towels, 2 small towels and also a bathroom mat. The staff was helpful.

Set in Zhongzheng and with Alishan Forest Railway reachable within 500 metres, Chinshan Villa offers concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... Beds are very comfortable and staffs are friendly. They have sunrise, sunset and stargazing trips for a fee. Will get refunded if weather doesn't permit for those activities. Would recommend staying here.

The location was amazing, great to be right up in Alishan for when we took the morning training and it was right next to food and shops. Plus, the staff were super friendly and the place was clean. I recommend the firefly tour at night!

Set in Zhongzheng, Chiayi County region, 登山別館 is located 33 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall. The property is non-smoking and is situated 300 metres from Alishan Forest Railway. Breakfast was great. Love the convenience location near stores and restaurants. I love the warm bed & heater. The WiFi was great and TV had many channels / choices. The front desk made sure we had the breakfast tickets. Love the hot / cold water refill fountain.

Set in Alishan Mountain, Maria Hotel a warm and comfortable place to stay in Chiayi. Free WiFi is available in all areas and free parking is provided on site. The stuff has been very patient and professional. They were great helping me to plan my visits of the attractions. The heating blanket was wonderful. I enjoyed a hot shower after my long bus ride getting there. The trick was to let the water run enough time. Will come back.

I am very grateful for everything they did to contribute to my magical stay in the Alishan Township area. Gau Shan Ching also provided the base location for my flawless hike up Yushan in perfect weather and return for rest and relaxation before eventual departure. Awesome, mei li, hen hao from someone who has been on the top of mountains all over thew world. Viva Yushan!

Alishan Hinoki B&B er staðsett í Alishan Forest Railway og 29 km frá Wufeng Park. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í Alishan. The B&B is located above a tea shop, the rooms are beautifully made with wood, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Large comfortable bed in our room, hot shower is great. Bathroom products are all l’occitane and replenished daily. Lots of local tea and coffee available in the room and communal area. We took the HSR from Taipei to Chiayi then rented a car from the station, convenient parking in front of the property. The bus stop to Alishan is also directly opposite the b&b so very convenient whether your driving or arriving by public transport. Really lovely and friendly hosts as well, showed us around the tea production process and tea drying which happens on the roof! There are also restaurants and convenience stores near by.
