The experience of the sleeping in a tent was great, very familiar atmosphere. We also added an excursion with camels and a dinner among the dunes... gorgeous!

This hotel is located on the edge of the Sahara Desert in Douz, central Tunisia. It has 2 swimming pools and a spa and wellness centre with massage and relaxation treatments. Everything was great. Food was good and the staff where lovely. The price was very good compared to what you get in europe. The pool area was beautiful and clean.

It is very good hotel... Very confortable, the owners are nice, very nice. It is clean, diferent, a very good experience. Take a few bucks with you, they don´t offer water, you must buy... so go outside the hotel to get one.

Mhamed‘s house is incredible! From the living room you can look right into the desert. it’s the last house before the desert starts. He has only 3 rooms, which gives it a very comfy vibe. Mhamed is an incredible honest and genuine man with whom we connected greatly. He took us to the desert in a responsible manner. Douz seems to be the small sister of Tozeur and I liked the smal city vibe there.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views. Everything was excellent including facilities, bedding, shower and towels. Very welcoming. It was the nicest place that we stayed in during the past month in Tunisia and Morocco. Excellent breakfast and cookies. If we could rate it higher than 10, we would.

Maison Proche De Désert Douz is situated in Douz and offers barbecue facilities. The public area is very atmospheric and has an authentic desert feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and have working air conditioning. They prepared a very delicious dinner for me upon request and the breakfast was nice too. They also arranged trips into the desert like camel tours and jeep tours. Located at the edge of the desert. Friendly hosts!

Private Camp25km-from DOUZ is a recently renovated luxury tent in Douz, where guests can make the most of its massage services and shared lounge. Mohammed the personal singer and Abdel the cook were simply amazing. hospitality second to none and full of information about their local culture. I booked on the same day via what's app and the owner was very accomodating and picked us up just several hours after initial contact to take us to the tent. What a unique experience !
