Palatial facilities, nice staff. Yossra was very friendly and helpful. Good bar, huge buffet dinner (50 TND extra).

The experience of the sleeping in a tent was great, very familiar atmosphere. We also added an excursion with camels and a dinner among the dunes... gorgeous!

This hotel is located on the edge of the Sahara Desert in Douz, central Tunisia. It has 2 swimming pools and a spa and wellness centre with massage and relaxation treatments. You can organize lot of different activities through hotel staff (camel or horse riding, bikes, etc. ). Food was nice, rooms are clean, we even had a mini fridge. Would recommend.

Grand Sud, la maison de sable is situated in Douz and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. It is a place definitely worth visiting! Everything truly exceeded our expectations: it is a beautiful guest house built with love, very very clean, and the location is truly breathtaking as you are literally almost in the Sahara. The owner, Mohammed is very kind and helpful: he made us food and delicious mint tea, arranged a camel trip to the desert for us, took us to the bus station with his car, and was great company talking to us about the desert and nomadic lifestyle. A very generous man and a beautiful place.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views. Everything was excellent including facilities, bedding, shower and towels. Very welcoming. It was the nicest place that we stayed in during the past month in Tunisia and Morocco. Excellent breakfast and cookies. If we could rate it higher than 10, we would.

Maison Proche De Désert Douz is situated in Douz and offers barbecue facilities. The public area is very atmospheric and has an authentic desert feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and have working air conditioning. They prepared a very delicious dinner for me upon request and the breakfast was nice too. They also arranged trips into the desert like camel tours and jeep tours. Located at the edge of the desert. Friendly hosts!

Offering garden views, Dar Barka in Kebili offers accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Nice for a few nights, the owners helped us with a heating then it didn’t work!
