Such a cute gem in the heart of Medina. Lovely decor and very nice relaxed atmosphere. Location was excellent, next to cafes, restaurants shops, 15 minutes walk from the Marina and 5 minutes from Bus/ Louage and Taxi station. The staff was excellent, polite and friendly, in particular Nejib, he was ever so nice and helpful with advice and recommendation, I followed all his advice, cannot thank him more!

Great stay, I knew the hotel from 10 years ago. It exceeded my expectations. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. The buffzt was great too. I really recommend Djerba and Ulysse especially this timz of the year.

The Hotel Sindbad is located in the heart of Djerba, surrounded by artisan shops and jewellery stores. It has a large exterior courtyard and rooms have an open balcony. Great place, some english spoken, clean, hot showers, good wifi in the lobby. Right in the center of the town!

Dar El Bhar is a charming hotel located in Houmt Souk, the main town on Djerba. It has a private beach and offers free Wi-Fi. This hotel was amazing!! It’s right on the beach with cozy beach chairs, a bar and restaurant connected with good food/drinks, and a gorgeous pool. You can bring your breakfast outside to one of the bar’s patio tables to feel the breeze and watch men walk by leading horses and camels. The staff were so lovely - Fatma at reception was incredibly helpful especially considering my language barrier (I don’t speak French/Arabic), and even the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and always said good morning to me and gave me the biggest smiles. I loved everything about this place. At first I thought I’d need to suck it up and pay for wifi in my room, since it only works in the lobby and courtyard, but I’m glad I didn’t - it was nice to be disconnected from social media for a while!
