Overall, exceptional for 3 stars, and in many ways, exceeded our expectations. Arad is an interesting and beautiful city with fab architecture, off the beaten track for most tourists. The food is excellent. If I do go back, very likely, I'll be staying at the same hotel for sure.

The room was big enough and I really loved the style. The furniture, floors, curtains, they were all in harmony. The bed was very comfortable, the slippers and robes a nice touch. The room was extremely clean, could not find any neglected place (even under the bed is was spotless). The staff has been welcoming and kind. Very good coffee at breakfast.

Continental Forum Arad occupies the highest building in the city centre of Arad. The elegant rooms boast amazing views over the old town from their private balconies. Everything is perfect: the location (right in the city center), the hotel (it has everything you need), the staff (very friendly and helpful), the breakfast (very good coffee).

Open in 2014, Hotel Leon & Spa is located in Arad, next to the Mures River and a 2-minute drive from the city centre. The hotel was very clean and modern. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great for us as I was visiting the nearby Medlife hospital for a procedure. Not too far from the centre of town if you are happy to have a walk. There is a cycle path that takes you directly into town. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant. The food was great and the lady in the restaurant was really friendly. They even sieved my soup for me after my procedure. Nothing is too much trouble.
