Ventozelo left us a wonderful feeling of nature and belonging. The hotel is super classy, nicely decorated and with nice well thought details. The breakfast is World class: been to Dubai, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan (lived here), London and currently live in Seattle, and did not have better than this super tasty breakfast. The infinite swimming pool and corresponding is breathtaking.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. The room's view was phenomenal. All staff were extremely attentive to detail and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pinhao.

An incredible property. We were just driving through so we only stayed one night, but I would love to return for longer. I think it would make a great base to explore the Douro. The room was spacious and simple. Great linens, lovely bath products. The pool is stunning with a view of the valley. Big, well-appointed fitness center. Gorgeous spa (that I didn't have time to use, sadly.) Fantastic restaurant-- we enjoyed dinner and breakfast, and both were quite good.

Our time at Casal dos Capelinhos was magical from start to finish. The attention to detail was absolutely incredible in every way. The food was beyond any of our expectations and it was clear that great time, effort and love was put into every meal prepared there. We actually spent most of our time in the grounds themselves, enjoying the magnificent pool and spectacular views of vineyards in the area. Our wine tasting session was also fantastic. If we could have given a rating higher than 10 we would have.
