The whole experience was absolutely amazing, it's difficult to summarize in a few words, but among the highlights I would mention the room, the spa, the pools, the food and the whole staff. Fantastic experience, would return for sure.

Location was perfect to all main activities/places we visited. The quality of the products and facilities were amazing. Hotel was spotless at all times. The decor was also exceptional - a lot of attention to detail. Security to enter the property was also very tight which we loved (made us feel safe). It is a smaller hotel with only 7 rooms which was very different but also very refreshing - hardly any voice and very peaceful. Thank you to Sarah and the team for such a lovely stay - we will be back!

Location was excellent just steps away from the main pedestrian street and relatively close to bus and railway stations. Elevator was very convenient. Room was clean, good tv stations, housekeeping daily. Good restaurants close by.

We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we simply shopped for tapas in the supermarket near by to enjoy the property even more instead of going to a restaurant for dinner. Perfect for a couple's getaway, or a small group of friends that wants to relax and reconnect like us.

Most beautiful facility I’ve ever stayed at - amazing history. Room was upgraded at check in which was very nice. We were in the old palace/hospital, which was wonderful. We ate dinner in the hotel (unusual for us) and had a wonderful meal. Breakfast was extensive with something for every taste. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering it is right in the middle of all the action in Braga. Easy walking distance to all sites of interest. Parking in a secure lot was an excellent bonus in a city where finding parking is at a premium.

The Hotel Império do Norte is located in Ponte de Lima, the oldest village in Portugal. Wi-Fi access is free throughout the property, as well as a car park and private garages. Breakfast was great! Location was perfect…right on the Camino path along that beautiful walkway lined with those fabulous trees.
