Opoa Beach Hotel ligger 10 minutters kørsel fra Marae Taputapuatea og 20 minutters kørsel fra Faaroa-bugten, den dybeste bugt i Polynesien. Hospitality was great!!! The tahitian people were beautiful, friendly and very helpful. Accommodation was perfect and presentation was just stunning. Also had tahitian band/entertainment who were spectaculae. Maururu🌺🏝️

The owner Johnny is very contactable, offers great local advice, does tours of the island (which we did and enjoyed) and he’s just a really nice guy. Would deffo stay here again.

Although it was quite rainy when we were in Raiatea, the place has an amazing view, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean! The suggestions for dinner were also great! However, let me thank Sandrine and Laurent, the hosts, they are exceptional! Our luggages did not arrive with us but only 3 days later (thank you AirFrance...) and although we did some shopping, we did not want to produce waste by buying additional stuff we do not really need as we had everything in our luggage. Thus, Sandrine gave us literally everything: t-shirts, pants, masks, fins, sea-shoes, everything! We really appreciated this help as we had the impression we were at friends' place and this was definitely a relief after a 27-hour flight and no luggage! Thank you a lot for your great help, we will always remember you!

Denne fredelige oase har en stor udendørs swimmingpool med fantastisk havudsigt. Villa U'upa ligger kun 10 minutter fra hjertet af Uturoa og færgeterminalen. Der er gratis wi-fi. The hosts are extremely nice, some of the best we’ve had yet. Christine helped us communicating with car rental companies and our tour guides, as we couldn’t make calls in French Polynesia. She had a list of all rental car companies on island and called every single one of them for us, as we couldn’t find a car or scooter available. So grateful! Thanks again, Christine. The rooms, pool, house, garden and surroundings look even better in reality than in the photos! Breakfast was yummy and the place was very clean and quiet! Only nature sounds around, especially that of u’upa, the yellow-footed green pigeon, where the villa name comes from. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown Uturoa.

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!
