Construído em 1865 e restaurado em 1902, o Otira Stagecoach Hotel está situado no coração do Parque Nacional de Arthur's Pass. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Stunning setting in the small village of Arthur's Pass with easy access to a multitude of trails right from the front door. The house was absolutely perfect: very comfortable furnishings, cozy feel, great amenities, and lovely views. The pictures really do not do it justice.

O Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park está situado numa deslumbrante floresta tropical e uma pista de caminhada. The park is in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms, showers and communal kitchen/lounge area were all very clean and well-maintained. We were in a cabin that was very comfortable. The nature walk is definitely worth doing and leads to very impressive waterfall.

Is warm house, host given me a lot woods/ pine corn for burning. Bedsheet is clean and comfortable for sleeping. Natural Environment . I will come back next time. Mountain House situa-se em Arthur's Pass, a 17 minutos a pé de Cascatas de Devils Punchbowl e a 600 m de Estação Ferroviária de Arthur's Pass. Simple and really great place to stay for hiking trips or splitting up the train ride. Plenty of public space, upstairs has an extended balcony, kitchen is quite big, little grassy area with picnic table outside. Shower and toilets clean and work great. Nothing more to ask for at this price honestly.
