Gardens are immaculate. The room was luxury in every respect. Our time here was special. The hosts are wonderful. We will come again.

The 19th-century Duke Hotel is located on the waterfront, overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. It features a guest lounge, restaurant and bar and garden bar, as well as a gymnasium. The staff and the suites were both lovely !

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Excellent location, no noise, well kept rooms. Able to get my adult children their own rooms (that we then extended for an extra night) at very short notice.

Set in Kaikohe, 35 km from Opua Forest, Left Bank offers air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. gorgeous historical building with huge elegant rooms. great management. only 6 rooms in the hotel, so very personal service. the newly reopened restaurant was lovely and we had two great meals there.

The receptionist was quick and friendly, the room was just beautiful, bigger than the photos. They even stored our luggage for us.

Excellent location, so clean and resort like environment. Simply loved it and will book again next year July.

Lupton Lodge features free gourmet breakfast and free Wi-Fi for all accommodation. Each luxurious room provides guests with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and bathrobes. The breakfast was excellent and a highlight of our trip. It was great to be able to eat at the same location. The lodge was lovely. It felt far more relaxed and homely than staying at a hotel or motel.
