When you come to Chitwan, your main purpose is to see the animals. Bishnu is the best for this purpose you can find in the area. He has been in the jungle since his very early years, he knows Chitwan better than I know my neighborhood. Plus he is an excellent manager and tries to do everything for you way and beyond. The food his wife is cooking is the best we ate in Nepal, since it's true home cooking. They are all very attentive to your needs. And we fulfilled the purpose: all kinds of deers, monkeys, birds, crocodile and the close encounter with the rhino! What we also liked is the location. It's the other part of Chitwan, far from the crowds and touts. The facilities are very simple, but it's expected. You have very comfortable beds with mosquito nets and hot water.

Boasting a garden, Hotel Peacock - Family Running Hotel is set in Sauraha and also provides a terrace and a bar. Our stay here exceeded our expectations! The owner Suraj is the kindest man and he really puts his heart and soul into running his hotel. We stayed on the top floor overlooking the rice field, bed was comfy, shower was nice and hot, and breakfast was delivered to us every morning on the terrace. He helped arrange a very experienced guide to take us on a jungle walk, canoe tour and jeep tour. By far the best is the exhilarating jungle walk where we found 5 rhinos bathing in mud and we just sat and watched them for 15 minutes. All the prices are so reasonable and you get great value! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

I would totally recommend staying here, very nice staff, good value and nice atmosphere. We booked the tours with them and they were great. I also got sick and everyone was so helpful in cancelling and rescheduling our tours, letting us stay longer, helping us with the needed medicines and the food. We ended up staying longer than expected and it was actually really nice. Our idea was to stay to visit the National Park, however we learnt to see Chitwan has much more to offer and is a nice place to stay and relax for a bit while travelling.

Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.

Location is perfect very easy to find . nepali cuisine was very much teasty stocked up in my toung. Rooms were clean and very quite for sleeping beds were comfortable with full of amenities required for sleeping.Staff were always simling friendly and service was much more faster than the expectation.
