The atmosphere in the hotel - a woww from checking to checkout! Great support from the friendly receptionists - big support on booking tours. The friendly spirit from the hotel was reflected from the entire stuff as well from the guests. We had a fantastic time - unfortunately too short. Big ❤ to the base camp family.

Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. This place is absolutely extraordinary. There is a strong sense of history, it is partly like a museum. We stayed there for four days, it felt warm and homely. Single rooms were basic, but met all our needs (if you are looking for modern scandinavian standards, you have to choose another place). The hotel has a amazing winter garden - a very rich breakfast is served in the morning. There is also some kind of lunch offer, which we didn't need. I strongly recommend dinner at the restaurant even if you are not staying at this hotel :) And last, but not least - we had the opportunity to meet and talk with two people who work in this restaurant - warm thanks to you, Valeria and Osvald! Your kindness made our stay even more exceptional! PS. One of us has already booked her next stay at this hotel!

Hotelul Radisson Blu Polar este cel mai nordic hotel cu servicii complete din lume, situat în Longyearbyen. Hotel was very acommodationg. I was able to store my luggage and stay in the lobby when I returned from my cruise and had a late day flight. Wifi was great.

Very clean and cosy rooms. The staff was very friendly and they made sure that there is always enough vegan milk and yoghurt for breakfast. The NUGA restaurant also has very delicious food. We enjoyed our time at The Vault very much.

This hotel is situated on the island of Spitsbergen, in Norway’s Arctic Archipelago, Svalbard. It offers stunning views, free WiFi and free afternoon treats. Access to a relaxation area is also free. Everything was amazing: the people, the location and the room. We spent Christmas there and the staff didn't miss an occasion to make us feel cosy and at home.
