Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. The location was AWESOME for the view, although it was further away from the bus stop than I expected: about 15' walk with luggage as opposed to the expected 5'. And it's also not visible from the bus stop, which made it a little harder to find. The "room" is more of a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette fully stocked and 1 bathroom with limited toiletries. For us, the place was HUGE - wish we could've stayed more than the 1 night. There were 4 beds, 2 twins and 1 bunk bed, and they were super comfortable. We had a 1st floor apartment, so the kitchen opened up to a nice patio area that overlooked the fjord and marina. The restaurant in the complex was also EXCELLENT at dinner, serving the best fish soup I had in Norway (I had 3 different ones). The included breakfast was adequate, but not spectacular.

Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This hotel is 100 metres from Flåm Train Station and offers free WiFi and private parking. Rooms at Flåmsbrygga Hotel feature Norwegian pinewood panelling and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel staff is very friendly (especially the receptionist!) My room is spotless clean and the view of the fjord just adds even more charm into the room. The breakfast has so many different choices and is very delicious! The location is also very convenient!

Situated in western Norway’s Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this waterfront hotel offers easy access to ferry boat fjord tours. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Best location possible, right next to the Viking Valley. Stayed here for 3 nights and it was the best vacation of my life. Having been born and raised in a city, the opportunity to live in the fjords and surrounded by nature that words cannot describe has been absolutely phenomenal. Spent a couple days at the Vikings Village too and took the fjord cruise from the hotel. Location and its surrounding is top notch. Huge must for Viking fanatics. Created an Instagram account just to capture my stay there @vikingsolotrip

Lærdalsøren Motor Guesthouse is the perfect hotel for car and motorcycle tourists. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic driving roads deep in the Sognefjord. Everything was perfect! There were only two booked rooms so they didn’t serve breakfast, but they opened one room with kitchen for us so we could have used that and help ourselves :)

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.
