We booked a cheap room and it said only 10m in the description but it was definitely twice as large. The quality is really great. You can find everything you need around the hotel and if you want to go to the "City-Center" or the hawker stalls or the market, the distance is walkable (maybe 15min).

Boasting an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Imperial Hotel Kuching is strategically located next to Boulevard Shopping Mall. The staff where so friendly and the room super clean. I had a long stay in the hotel and i felt so welcome. It’s near to the airport and i like that it’s not directly in the centre. Everything that you need it’s near; grocery, restaurants, mall etc. It’s about 10’ with the car. The room service, dining and laundry service is top. I’ll come here again if I come to Kuching. (:
