Estrategicamente localizado no centro de Taiping Town, o Novotel Taiping possui piscina ao ar livre e vista para a montanha, a 68 km de Ipoh. The staff were amongst the best I have had the pleasure to come across. The pool is of a good size and was well maintained as was the gym. Wisely, the pool is closed during bad weather. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The chefs were very accommodating and the table staff very efficient and polite. The dining room was very busy over the bank holiday weekend, and they coped well. All the reception staff were efficient and polite. They always greeted us with a smile. The security/concierge were equally a pleasure to meet when coming in or out. I apologise for not remembering names! The rooms were kept very clean and seemed to be done as soon as we left the room having illuminated the please make up light. Finally, the direct access to the Mall was good , particularly when it was raining.
