The apartment was clean, well equipped and we really liked the design how it was furnished with all details that reminded local traditions and Latvia. Marta was very nice host willing to help us with everything. The location was very quiet and safe, very close to Gauja National Park. We had everything we needed. I can recommend this accommodation for sure.

It was the biggest and the nicest suprise I got on my way - beds are huge and nice, you got your own personal light and locker. Bathroom is huge, modern and very clean, same goes for the common room and kitchen. Perfect spot for exploration of Gauja National Park, the most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed in!

The hotel is in an old historic building but has been remodeled on the inside. Just next to the historic part of town, about 10 minute walk from the bus/train station. Room was clean and comfortable, very quiet with a great view over the rooftops. Entrances to Gauja National Park about 2.5 km west.

Great location if you travelling by car. It is in the middle of Gauja National park, few km from Turaida castle. Room was spacious, nice and very calm. Breakfast was at the cafe near hotel. They served hot drinks, water and one plate of English type breakfast, which was really good.

Large, comfortable rooms, decorated in attractive Scandinavian style. Quiet location in the forest, just outside of Cēsis, gateway to Gauja National Park. Great restaurant for breakfast (included) and dinner (additional charge). Friendly staff. Free parking on site.

Hotel is easy to find, it has access to the lake. Location is perfect to explore Gauja national park. Our room was really spacious, actually we did not expect that. Simple, but nice breakfast, friendly host and staff.

We loved our time at Zeit Hotel! Very nice breakfast, great starting point for exploring Gauja National Park. Bonus points for the friendly cats in the area :)

It's a wonderful hotel with a restaurant and bar, super friendly and kind staff. Definitely would recommend the restaurant even if you are not staying there, food was great.

A wonderful place to recharge from the fast paced city life. Quiet, despite of having couple of other cabins around. We absolutely love the sauna cottage: perfect for two!

Bille is located between Cēsis and Sigulda and is a great choice for accommodation if you plan to see both of those towns, also there is so much to see in the area outside the towns. Amata River flows through Bille estate, it's quite a scenic landscape, a peaceful and quiet area to rest from the city buzz. We were in awe to see beaver's dams on the river, something quite incredible. Izabella, the host, is very welcoming and kind and upgraded our room to a larger one at no extra charge. The room was beautiful with a nice view out of the window, a comfy bed, and good pressure in the shower, everything is taken care of. We also liked that the place offered a small kitchen for preparing small meals or snacks, and complimentary coffee, tea, and spices. (And the coffee was very good, and so was the peppermint tea we tried!) You can even leave your foodstuffs in the fridge. Unfortunately, our car broke down, and the situation was quite stressful and complicated our travel plans, but Izabella was so helpful, she arranged that someone comes to help us jumpstart it. Thank you so very much, we had a great time at Bille! I will also keep the property in mind if I ever need a place for family or friends parties or getaways, great in the summer, as Bille also offers volleyball fields and the spacious inside area has loads of board games and a cosy fireplace. Highly recommend!

Lovely place and wonderful service from the people in charge of the cabins. Such a good location in the middle of Gaujas national park.

We loved the Kempings Ozolkalns! The cabin very comfortably accommodated our five family members and was very clean and functional. The location by the Gauja River was very enchanting and we particularly enjoyed swimming there. The proximity of the campground to the amenties of Cesis and the rest of the Gauja Park was also a huge plus!

We had an amazing winter night experience. There was 20 cm thick snow all around and -5 deg Celsius outside temperature, but the room was nicely heated at +24 deg C. I was pleased that inside the room was a tiny fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and a full set of dishes, cutlery, and various teas. We brought our own food and heated it up in the microwave. It was amazing, that the tree house is near a lake. The lake was fully frozen therefore it was safe to walk on it. A patch on the lake was even cleared to go ice-skating. We did not bring our own skates, but the host Maija gave us skates with EU size of 44 and 38. It was completely random and unexpected that we could go ice-skating on the lake. It got dark at the night, so we could also see the stars. We also rented sauna, which is near the lake. You can control the heat in the sauna by adding more wood or throwing water on the hot rocks to make hot steam. After sauna we also went to the lake to dip in the water. A small batch of the lake was not frozen so you could easily have an ice bath. Note: Taxi ride from Cesis train/bus station was 6 euros. If you want a taxi driver who speaks English, then I suggest using taxi company "Taksi 118 , IK". We would definitely want to come back again.
